Provided are an electronic control device and a vehicle control system capable of reducing a calculation amount and improving reliability of a travel route of a vehicle as compared with a conventional course setting device. An electronic control deviceis mounted on a vehicle. The electronic control deviceincludes a map processing deviceconnected to an external sensorthat recognizes an obstacle around the vehicleand a position sensorthat acquires position information of the vehiclein a manner capable of information communication. The map processing deviceincludes a storage devicethat stores map information including travel route information of the vehicle. The map processing devicerecords a travel route along which the vehicleavoids an obstacle in the storage device, classifies the obstacle into a permanent obstacle and a transient obstacle, and updates the travel route information with an avoiding route based on the travel route along which the vehiclehas avoided the permanent obstacle.

Electronic control device and vehicle control system

A vehicle control system includes a control unit for vehicle control and a server which distributes map information to the control unit. The map information includes information on a first type of road whereby full or partial driving assistance of the vehicle is possible, and information on a second type whereby full or partial driving assistance of the vehicle are not possible. The server includes an output unit which transmits information on a second type of road existing in a predetermined range from a first type of road on which the vehicle is traveling, and such that the first and second types of road form a predetermined angle or less. The control unit includes a map management unit including information on the first and second types of road, and a vehicle control unit controlling the vehicle by using the information on the first and second types of road.
