A drive apparatus of an electric motor which does not include a position detection sensor, the drive apparatus includes drive portion configured to drive the electric motor on the basis of a command value inputted from outside, a number-of-rotations detection portion configured to detect a number of rotations of the electric motor driven by the drive portion, an out-of-phase judgement portion judging that the electric motor is out of phase in a case where the number of rotations detected by the number-of-rotations detection portion is less than a predetermined threshold value, and the predetermined threshold value being configured to be changed on the basis of the command value inputted from outside.

Drive apparatus of electric motor and electric pump apparatus

An electric pump includes: a motor that drives a pump; and a control unit to which an input signal for driving the motor is input from an external device, which outputs a drive signal based on the input signal, and which outputs a pulse signal indicating a rotation state of the motor to the external device, in which the control unit is configured to change both of a frequency and a duty ratio of the pulse signal so as to be capable of discriminating whether the motor is in a drive state or a stop state and between a plurality of states of the motor in the stop state.

Electric pump

A control system is provided with an electric water pump that has a sensorless-type brushless motor including a rotor that rotates so as to circulate a coolant between an internal combustion engine and a radiator, and a control device that issues an instruction to stop the brushless motor and prohibits a start of the brushless motor till the rotor stops rotating.
