A vehicle communication system includes a central device and an on-vehicle device. A path determiner of the central device determines an information transmission path between a plurality of vehicles for consolidating information in a vehicle that performs a wireless communication with a terrestrial communication device out of the vehicles based on at least operating information on the vehicles. An on-vehicle communicator of the on-vehicle device acquires the information transmission path directly from the central device via the terrestrial communication device or indirectly from the central device via the terrestrial communication device and a second vehicle, and transmits and receives predetermined information to and from the terrestrial communication device or the second vehicle based on the acquired information transmission path.

A control device according to an embodiment includes a calculator, a changing unit, and a transmitter. The calculator calculates a first communication volume obtained by adding a value obtained by normalizing a communication volume of a voice call of a first terminal and a value obtained by normalizing a communication volume of data communication of the first terminal on the basis of a first history of the voice call of the first terminal and a second history of the data communication of the first terminal. The changing unit changes a first upper limit of a third priority obtained by adding a first priority set to the voice call of the first terminal and a second priority set to the data communication of the first terminal on the basis of the first communication volume.

According to one embodiment, a control apparatus includes a terminal information collection unit, a map generator, a terminal information accumulation unit, a parameter calculator, and a parameter setting unit. A map generator generates a map indicating a distribution of the representative terminals. A terminal information accumulation unit accumulates the map generated by the map generator. A parameter calculator sets operating frequencies and transmission powers for the base stations by simulation, empirically estimate, based on past maps accumulated in the terminal information accumulation unit, received powers of the representative terminals generated by the operating frequencies and transmission powers sets by simulation, and determine new operating frequencies.

According to one embodiment, a controller for a storage apparatus is disclosed having interfaces connectable to a host system, a first storage apparatus and a second storage apparatus. A data in the first storage apparatus and a data in the second storage apparatus are duplicates. A status table stores the operating state regarding the first storage apparatus and the second storage apparatus, wherein the operating state indicates among writing, reading, or standing by. A monitor monitors the interfaces and set up the operating state into the status table. A buffer memory buffers the data for writing in the first storage apparatus and the second storage apparatus. A command response unit receives the data for writing and write-in request from a host system, and directs the writing of the data to the first storage apparatus and the second storage apparatus while making the buffer memory buffer the received data.

Controller for storage apparatus and controlling method for storage apparatus

A controller for a storage device is connected to a host system and the storage device. A buffer memory includes first and second storage areas. A timer counts a preset given time in response to an instruction to start counting and sends a deadline notification when A given time is elapsed. A command responding portion, when receiving a read command from the host system, instructs the timer to start counting and thereafter outputs a read instruction to read data from the storage system. A data processing portion, in response to the read instruction by the command responding portion, reads specified data from the storage device and holds the read data in the second storage area of the buffer memory. A read control portion sends the host system the data held in the second storage area of the buffer memory when the deadline notification is received from the timer.

Controller for storage device and method for controlling storage device

A controller is connectable to a host system and a plurality of storage devices. A monitor unit monitors operating status of a plurality of storage devices and sets the operating status of the storage devices in a status table. Upon receiving a write command from the host system, a command responding unit receives write data sent from the host system within a certain period of time after the write command, holds the write data received in a buffer memory, instructs a timer to start counting, sets a write destination for data in the status table, outputs a control signal that gives an instruction to write data to the storage device of the write destination, and returns a write completion response corresponding to the write command to the host system when receiving the deadline notification from the timer.
