According to one embodiment, a method has storing, registering and displaying. The storing is storing a plurality of images having at least a first image in storage. The registering is registering first information related to the first image. The displaying is displaying, when the first image corresponds to a second image acquired by a camera, the first information or information related to the first information on a display.

According to one embodiment, an information processing apparatus receives, from a site on Internet, first messages related to a first broadcast station and posted on the site. The apparatus scores each of the received first messages based on a number of characters in each of the received first messages so as to give a higher score to first messages each with a smaller number of characters, and calculates a first evaluation value for content data being broadcast by the first broadcast station based on the scores for the received first messages. The apparatus transmits the calculated first evaluation value to a user terminal.

According to one embodiment, an electronic apparatus includes a storage device which stores first image files includes location information and time information and a display processor which displays, on a screen, a map image, a plurality of objects on the map image, and lines on the map. Locations of the plurality of objects correspond to location information of the first image files. Shapes of the lines are determined based on location information and time information of the first image files. A line is drawn between a first object corresponding to first time information regarding a first timing of photographing and a second object corresponding to second time information regarding a second timing of photographing next to the first timing of photographing.

According to an embodiment, a receiving apparatus includes a memory, a first generator, a second generator, a transmitter, a receiver. The memory stores service information including search criteria set in a memory device and a connection method for connecting with the memory device. The first generator generates a common search query that is a search query expressing search conditions used in searching contents and that includes at least a pair of a common search condition attribute and a common search condition attribute value. The second generator generates a search query according to the search criteria specified in the service information with the use of the generated common search query. The transmitter transmits the generated search query to the memory device based on the connection method specified in the service information. The receiver receives, from the memory device, the attribute information obtained as a result of executing the search query.
