An opening/closing mechanism for a tail gate includes a hinge device configured to rotate the tail gate relative to side walls, and a latch device configured for engagement with a striker provided on the side wall to hold the tail gate in a closed state. The hinge device includes an electric driving device provided on the tail gate and configured to rotate the tail gate by means of a motor, and a coupling configured to couple a body-side engagement portion provided on the side wall and an output shaft of the electric driving device together. The output shaft of the electric driving device fits in a fitting hole portion in a first cylindrical portion formed at one end side of the coupling, and the body-side engagement portion fits in a fitting recessed portion in a second cylindrical portion formed at the other end side of the coupling.

Opening/closing mechanism for opening/closing member

A vehicle door opening device that enables a door, in a lock state, to open comprises an operating unit. The operating unit comprises a first outside lever that is pivotally mounted, via a first shaft, and rotates with an outside handle; a second outside lever that is pivotally mounted, via a second shaft that differs from the first shaft, releasing action of the second outside lever is made by a release electric power source, the second outside lever is connected to the first outside lever so that the releasing action is not transmitted to the first outside lever; and a release lever that is pivotally mounted, via the second shaft, and carries out releasing action caused by the releasing action of the second outside lever so that the releasing action of the releasing lever can be transmitted to door latch units.

Vehicle door opening/close device

A vehicle door operating device includes an opening inside lever connected to an inside handle in a door inside a vehicle, a childproof lock lever that moves between a childproof unlock position and a childproof lock position; a switch lever, a childproof sensor and a single engagement pin. When the childproof lock lever is in the childproof lock position, opening action of the inside handle cannot be transmitted to a door latch device, but can be transmitted to the switch lever. When the childproof lock lever is in the childproof unlock position, releasing action of the opening inside lever can be transmitted to door latch devices for holding a door closed via a single engagement pin, but cannot be transmitted to the switch lever. When the childproof lock lever is in the childproof lock position, the releasing action of the opening inside lever cannot be transmitted to the door latch device via the engagement pin, but can be transmitted to the switch lever.

A vehicle door opening and closing apparatus includes: a closing latch mechanism having a first latch and a first ratchet; an opening latch mechanism having a second latch and a second ratchet; a release electric mechanism configured to operate the first ratchet to a released position; an opening latch interlocking mechanism configured to operate in a cancel direction from an initial position in association with movement of the second latch from the unlatched position to the latched position; a relay mechanism configured to enable returning of the first ratchet stopped at the released position by switching over from a connected state to a disconnected state; and a cable that is routed through inside of a door trim and that transmits the operation of the opening latch interlocking mechanism in the cancel direction to the relay mechanism.

An opening-and-closing device for vehicle door includes: a close-latch mechanism which holds a door at a closed position; an open-latch mechanism which holds the door at an opened position; an electric-powered releasing mechanism which operates the close-latch mechanism; an open-latch interlocking mechanism which operates from an initial position toward a canceling direction in conjunction with an operation of the open-latch mechanism from an unlatched position to a latched position; and a relay mechanism which changes a state of a transmission path of releasing operation from a connected state to a disconnected state to allow returning of a first ratchet which has stopped in a releasing position.

Opening-and-closing device for vehicle door

A vehicle door latch device includes: a latch unit configured to keep a vehicle door in a door-closed state by engaging with a striker of a vehicle body; a power release mechanism configured to make the vehicle door openable by releasing engagement between the latch unit and the striker; a disengagement mechanism installed in a path coupling the power release mechanism with the latch unit, the disengagement mechanism being configured to be switched between a connected state and a disconnected state; and a lever configured to switch the disengagement mechanism from the connected state to the disconnected state. The lever is configured to be connectable to both of a full-open position holder, operating when the vehicle door reaches a full-open position by door-opening slide, and a disengagement operating unit for manual operation.

Vehicle door latch device

A door latch system for a vehicle includes: a latch interlocking mechanism arranged to be actuated in a release cancel direction from a neutral position to be interlocked with the pivot movement of the latch in a predetermined direction; and a release cancel mechanism arranged to be actuated from a connection state where an operation force transmitting path for transmitting the power of the electric driving mechanism to the ratchet is connected, to a disconnection state where the operation force transmitting path is disconnected, by the actuation of the latch interlocking mechanism in the release cancel direction from the neutral position, the release cancel mechanism being arranged to be actuated from the connection state to the disconnection state when the ratchet is in a release restriction state so as to enable the ratchet to return to the engagement position.

Door latch system for vehicle

An opening-and-closing device for vehicle door includes: a close-latch mechanism; an electric-powered releasing mechanism; an association mechanism; a relay mechanism; an electric open/close unit; and a control unit. The relay mechanism switches from a connection state to a disconnection state by the operation of an association mechanism in a cancellation direction to allow returning a first ratchet stopped at a release position. The control unit reversely controls the electric open/close unit, operates a door to be opened toward a fully opened position, operate the association mechanism in a cancellation direction, and switches the relay mechanism to the disconnection state, upon detection of operational malfunction of the electric-powered releasing mechanism during closing of the door from the fully opened position to a fully closed position by closing operation of the electric open/close unit.

A driving device includes: a neutral switch switches over from ON to OFF when an automatic closing function by a motor is operated and a first cam surface is released from a contact with the neutral switch; and a gear detection switch switches over from ON to OFF when an automatic closing function by the motor is operated and a second cam surface is released from a contact with the gear detection switch, wherein the operation of the automatic closing function by the motor is configured to be initiated by switch-over of a ratchet switch of the door latch unit from OFF to ON and ended by switch-over of the neutral switch from OFF to ON, and the gear detection switch is configured to switch over from OFF to ON by coming into contact with the second cam surface when the automatic releasing function by the motor is operated.

Driving device of vehicle door latch unit

In a vehicle, a striker engages with a latch which engages with a ratchet. A door of the vehicle is closed. A motion-transmitting path for transmitting power to the ratchet from an electric drive mechanism is provided. A release-canceling mechanism connects or cuts off the motion-transmitting path. When the ratchet is released from the latch, the door-cooperating lever cuts off the release-canceling mechanism to enable the ratchet to engage with the latch again. Hence the door is closed.

Vehicle door latch system

An operating device for a vehicle door latch comprises an inside handle, a base member fixed to a door, and inside lever connected to the inside handle, a locking lever, a housing, a motor, an output lever, a detected lever coupled to the inside handle and an inside-handle detecting switch. The motion of the inside handle is detected by the inside-handle detecting switch via the detected lever of the device to make the door open or close. Another detecting switch detects motion of a swinging member outside the housing.

Operating device for a vehicle door latch

A vehicle door closer device comprises a latch that is capable of engaging with a striker of a vehicle body; a ratchet that is capable of engaging with the latch; and a release-canceling mechanism that comprises a first release-output lever, a second release-output lever and a canceling lever. A locking knob is operated, and the canceling lever disconnects a motion transmitting path between the first release-output lever and the second release-output lever thereby enabling the ratchet to engage with the latch, so that a vehicle door can be closed.

Vehicle door closer device

In a planetary gear mechanism of a vehicle door closer device, a planetary gear meshes with a sun gear and a ring gear. When the ring gear turns in one direction, the planetary gear orbits while it turns on its own axis. A closing lever is pivoted on the planetary gear and turns with orbiting of the planetary gear to move the latch to a full-latch position to enable the door to close. When the ring gear turns in the other direction, the planetary gear turns on its own axis and the sun gear turns to allow the ratchet to release from the latch to to enable the door to open. The planetary gear mechanism slows down a motor and a motion is transmitted to the ratchet to enable the ratchet to release from the latch. When the motor stops, the motion is disconnected to enable the ratchet to return to engagement with the latch.

A door closer device comprises a sun gear pivotally mounted via a pivot shaft, a planetary gear which meshes with the sun gear to orbit the sun gear while turning on its own axis, a closing lever pivotally mounted via the pivot shaft and pivotally mounted with the planetary gear, and a sector gear which has an external teeth meshing with an output gear and an internal teeth meshing with the planetary gear. The closing lever swings about the pivot shaft to allow a latch to move from a half-latch position to a full-latch position where the latch fully engages with a striker.

Door closer device

There is disclosed an improvement in an apparatus of the helical scan type for playing back of information signals prerecorded on a magnetic tape along tracks inclined with respect to a running direction of a magnetic tape in a manner that tracks of common azimuth angle are formed every other track. The apparatus is characterized in that first and second head assemblies each comprise a pair of heads having azimuth angles different from each other and disposed adjacent to each other, are arranged displaceably in a direction vertical to a track scanning direction, respectively, and are displaced by a displacement element, the heads in the first head assembly respectively have azimuth angles common to azimuth angles of the heads in the second head assembly in such a manner that two common azimuth heads are angularly separated each other by 180 degrees on a rotary drum carrying the first and second head assemblies; and that when a recorded image signal on the magnetic tape is played back with the magnetic tape being wound onto the rotary drum over a predetermined angular range, the displacement element displacing the first and second head assemblies in accordance with a selected tape speed mode, causing each of the heads in the first and second head assemblies tracking to scan the tracks having azimuth angles common to azimuth angles of the heads.
