A switching converter and a method for providing an output voltage is presented. The switching converter includes an inductor coupled to a pair of power switches, a signal generator and a controller. The first power switch is used to magnetize the inductor, while the second power switch is used to de-magnetize it. The signal generator is adapted to generate a modulated signal having a pulse width variable between a minimum value and a maximum value and to drive the first and second power switches based on the modulated signal. Upon identifying that the modulated signal has the minimum pulse width value, the controller increases a reverse current flowing from the inductor through the second power switch to prevent the output voltage from increasing above a target value.

System and method for operating a switching converter in light load

Provided are: a conductive composition containing a conductive polymer (A) satisfying the below-mentioned condition (i) and a compound (B) having at least 3 hydroxyl groups, and having a pH at 25&#xb0; C. of a 1 mol/L aqueous solution of no greater than 9.0; a conductive composition that further contains a water-soluble polymer (C) having a hydroxyl group; and a solid electrolytic capacitor having a solid electrolytic layer containing the composition. Condition (i): the volume-average particle size of the smallest particle distribution containing the smallest peak exhibited by the particle size among at least one peak obtained by measuring the particle distribution by means of a dynamic light scattering method using a conductive polymer solution containing 1% by mass of the conductive polymer being less than 26 nm.

Conductive aniline polymer, method for producing same, and method for producing conductive film

A conductive composition according to the present invention contains a conductive polymer (A) having a sulfonic acid group and/or a carboxyl group; and an alkali metal hydroxide and/or an alkaline earth metal hydroxide (B). In such a conductive composition, the amount of the hydroxide (B) is set at 0.2&#x2dc;0.65 mol per 1 mol of a repeating unit that contains a sulfonic acid group and/or a carboxyl group in the conductive polymer (A).
