A signal processing device includes an excessive input estimating unit that estimates excessive input of a target signal, a controller that calculates frequency characteristics which will lessen the excessive input of the target signal from the excessive input information estimated by the excessive input estimating unit, and a frequency characteristic modification unit that modifies the frequency characteristics of the target signal in accordance with the frequency characteristics the controller calculates.

Signal processing device

A signal processing circuit has two types of filters: an IIR filterand an FIR filterhaving an equivalent transfer function at all times. In an adjustment mode in which the signal processing circuit is adjusted to have an arbitrary transfer function, the signal processing circuit makes a configuration setting to use the IIR filter. When completing the adjustment or in a signal processing mode, the signal processing circuit makes a configuration setting change to switch to the FIR filterhaving the equivalent transfer function.

Signal processing circuit

A signal receiving apparatushas a memory circuit, writing of data contained in a digital input signal transmitted from a signal transmitting apparatusis performed using a clock signal separated and created by a PLL circuitfrom the digital input signal received, and reading is performed using a reference clock signal with quartz accuracy from a reference clock generating circuit. To reproduce the digital input signal by correcting the shift between the clock signal and the reference clock signal, the signal receiving apparatus detects the shift between the two clock signals. When the signal receiving apparatusside lags behind the signal transmitting apparatus, the data contained in the digital input signal undergoes thinning out, and when it leads, a signal generated from previous and subsequent digital input signal is interpolated.

Image display system

A lamp has a deformed lamp reflector and a lamp front glass. The deformed lamp reflector is made by deforming an ellipsoid of revolution of a conventional lamp reflector into an aspherical reflection surface rotationally symmetrical with respect to an optical axis. The lamp front glass is obtained by deforming at least one of an incident surface and outgoing surface of a conventional lamp front glass into an aspherical lens surface rotationally symmetrical with respect to the optical axis. A light flux emitted from the center point of an illuminant is reflected by the deformed lamp reflector, and output with a uniform density through all of the outgoing surface of the lamp front lens so that the light flux is condensed at focus point.

A transmission screen has a refraction total reflection Fresnel lens plate, a stray light eliminating plate, and an image display plate. The stray light eliminating plate has a condensing lens array and black stripes. The array has unit lenses arranged at an incident plane of the transparent substrate in a periodic structure in an up-and-down direction. The black stripes have transparent sections placed near condensing light points of the unit lens and opaque sections around the condensing light points of the unit lenses. The sections are alternately arranged at the outgoing plane of the transmission substrate in a periodic structure in an up-and-down direction. The image display plate has lenticular lenses in which unit lenses are arranged in a periodic structure in a horizontal direction at an incident plane of the transmission substrate of a scattering characteristic capable of scattering light fluxes.
