Connector

It is aimed to improve heat dissipation. A joint connector () includes busbar terminals (), a housing () and heat dissipation plates (). The housing () includes at least two fittings () and a holding portion () defining the two fitting portions () and holding the busbar terminals (). The heat dissipation plates () are mounted to contact outer surfaces close to the holding portion ().

An object is to provide a technique by which a space in a vehicle in which a wire harness including a plurality of splice circuits is arranged can be reduced and good manufacturability at the time of manufacture can be achieved. A stacked connector is formed by joining a plurality of split connectors to each other. The split connectors each include a split connector housing provided with a plurality of terminal receiving chambers and a plurality of terminal-equipped electric wires that each include a terminal received in the terminal receiving chamber and an electric wire to which the terminal is connected. At least one of the split connector housings is provided with a locking portion having a protruding shape that protrudes outward to be capable of locking the terminal-equipped electric wire received in the split connector housing of a joining counterpart.

Stacked connector and wire harness

A connector () includes a stacked housing () configured by vertically stacking sub-housings (S) capable of accommodating terminals (T) in three or more stages. The stacked housing () includes, as the sub-housings (S), an upper sub-housing (S) disposed in an uppermost stage, a middle sub-housing (S) disposed to face the upper sub-housing (S) and a lower sub-housing (S) disposed in a lowermost stage. The upper sub-housing (S) includes a retainer () for retaining the terminals (T) accommodated inside the middle sub-housing (S) and the middle sub-housing (S) includes at least two retainers () for retaining the terminals (T) accommodated in the upper sub-housing (S) and the terminals (T) accommodated in the lower sub-housing (S).

Connector with stacked sub-housings

It is aimed to provide a ground terminal fitting suitably connectable to each of various wires. A ground terminal fitting includes a bolt fastening portion () to be bolted to a ground part and a wire connecting portion () to be connected to an end part of a wire (). The bolt fastening portion () and the wire connecting portion () are coupled after being separately formed. According to this configuration, since the wire connecting portion () can be formed of an optimal material into an optimal shape, the wire connecting portion can be suitably connected to each of various wires ().

Ground terminal fitting

A ground terminal fitting includes a bolt fastening portion () to be bolted to a ground part () and a wire connecting portion () to be connected to an end part of a wire (). The bolt fastening portion () and a bottom plate portion () of the wire connecting portion () are arranged flush with each other. A protrusion () projecting toward the ground part () is provided on a part of the bolt fastening portion () around a bolt insertion hole () through which a bolt () is to be inserted. Since a linking portion () lining the bolt fastening portion () and the wire connecting portion () needs not be formed into a bent shape according to this configuration, a stress concentration on the linking portion () can be alleviated.
