A sensor includes a handhole part and a sensor module. The handhole part includes an inner wall and a holder. The holder is located at the inner wall. The sensor module is provided in the handhole part. The sensor module includes a held part held by the holder, a housing connected with the held part, a sensor circuit provided in the housing and including a gas sensor element, and a battery configured to supply electrical power to the sensor circuit. A gap is between the inner wall and the housing and between the housing and a first member under the housing.

Sensor and sensor module

A color shutter, comprising first, second and third polarizers, first and second retarders, first and second polarizing rotators, and at least one absorption type partial polarizer. The color shutter is constructed such that the first retarder is arranged between the first polarizer and the second polarizer, that the second retarder is arranged between the second polarizer and the third polarizer, that the first polarizing rotator is arranged between the first polarizer and the second polarizer, that the second polarizing rotator is arranged between the second polarizer and the third polarizer, at least one of the first polarizing rotator and the second polarizing rotator is arranged in a manner to be sandwiched between the second polarizer and the first or second retarder, that the absorption type partial polarizer is arranged between the first polarizing rotator and the first retarder and/or between the second polarizing rotator and the second retarder, and that the transmitted light can be changed into the three primary colors of RGB by selecting the voltage applied to the first and second polarizing rotators.

Color shutter and color image display apparatus

An X-ray semiconductor detector has a pixel array structure in which a plurality of pixel elements are arrayed in a matrix. Each pixel element includes an X-ray/charge conversion film for generating charges in accordance with an incident X-ray, a storage capacitor for storing the signal charges generated in the X-ray/charge conversion film, a signal read transistor for reading the signal charges from the storage capacitor, and a protective diode arranged to remove excessive charges from the storage capacitor and prevent dielectric breakdown of the signal read transistor. The protective diode is arranged below the storage capacitor. Since the protective diode is arranged below the storage capacitor, it does not decrease the pixel density. Since the protective diode is covered with the storage capacitor, it can be shielded from an X-ray. Therefore, variations in OFF current of the protective diode by an X-ray and dielectric breakdown of the protective diode can be prevented.

This invention is a liquid crystal display device including a reflecting plate formed above a substrate, and a liquid crystal cell formed by alternately, repeatedly stacking a liquid crystal layer and a transparent electrode layer at least once on the reflecting plate, wherein the liquid crystal layer includes a thin film constituted by a microcapsulated guest-host liquid crystal containing dye molecules and liquid crystal molecules.
