A method and apparatus for forming an image using an image forming sheet that is normally non-photosensitive but can be rendered photosensitive by preheating and is exposed at the preheated area to a light image to form therein a latent image and then heat-developed to form a visible image. After preheating, the preheated area is cooled by cooling means prior to exposure.

Image forming method and apparatus therefor

In image forming apparatus using a heat-developable image forming sheet which is normally non-photosensitive but can be rendered photosensitive by preheating and is exposed to a light image to form a latent image and then heat-developed to produce a visible image, first heating means for preheating, exposure means for exposing the image forming sheet to the light image and the second heating means for heat development are respectively provided with fixing means for respectively fixing different image forming areas of the sheet at the processing positions of the respective means, and the first and second heating means and the exposure means are arranged so that the different image forming areas can be simultaneously processed by the respective means in parallel.

Image forming apparatus

A cleaved surface of a crystal is used as a substrate for evaporation, and a high mobility semiconductor is evaporated to a thickness of 0.5 to 1.5 .mu.m to form a deposited thin semiconductor film, on which a first magnetizable member having a high magnetic permeability is applied with an adhesive. Subsequently the substrate is removed, and an electrode is formed on the exposed surface of the evaporated thin film, and a second magnetizable member is applied thereon with an adhesive. Where a special humidity resistance is required, a reinforcing layer of an electrically insulating and moisture-impervious inorganic material is formed directly on the evaporated thin semiconductor film before the first magnetizable member is applied.

Valve and method for manufacturing the same

A liquid passageway is formed in a vessel and is filled with liquid, which flows in response to a shock or an acceleration applied to the vessel, and signal detection means produces an electrical signal in accordance with the velocity of the liquid flow. Threshold presetting means is disposed within the liquid passageway on one side of the signal detection means, and permits a passageway of the liquid therethrough only for a liquid pressure which exceeds a given value. A check valve is disposed within the liquid passageway on the opposite side of the signal detection means with respect to the threshold presetting means. The check valve permits a flow of the liquid toward the threshold presetting means, but blocks a movement of the liquid in the opposite direction. That amount of the liquid which has moved past the threshold presetting means is returned to the liquid passageway by passing it through a return path so as to flow through the check valve in a forward direction. A signal is produced by the signal detection means only when the vessel is subjected to a shock in excess of a given value.
