A hybrid vehicle drive apparatus, including a prime-mover-output-shaft, a transmission-input-shaft and a motor-rotor provided therebetween, each rotatable around an axis-line, a first-clutch connecting/disconnecting the output-shaft and the motor, a second-clutch connecting/disconnecting the motor and the input-shaft, a case-member having a radially extending non-rotating-sidewall-member and a non-rotating-shaft-member extending around the axis-line, and a rotor-support-member having a rotating-shaft-member rotatably fitted on the non-rotating-shaft-member and a rotating-sidewall-member facing the non-rotating-sidewall-member and extending radially outward from the rotating-shaft-member, and cantilevering the rotor, wherein the first/second-clutch has first/second-plates alternately and rotatably arranged in the axial-direction, a clutch-hub supporting the first-plates movably in the axial-direction, and a clutch-drum supporting the second-plates movably in the axial-direction, the clutch-hub of the first-clutch is integrally rotatable with the output-shaft, the clutch-hub of the second-clutch is integrally rotatable with the input-shaft, and the clutch-drums of the first/second-clutches are a single-shared-clutch-drum and integrally rotatable with the rotor-support-member.

Hybrid vehicle drive apparatus

A vehicle clutch apparatus, including first, second rotating shaft and a rotating member rotatable around an axis line, a first clutch connecting/disconnecting the first rotating shaft and the rotating member, a second clutch connecting/disconnecting the rotating member and the second rotating shaft, a case member having a non-rotating shaft member extending around the axis line, wherein a clutch hub of the first, second clutch has first, second rotating shaft member integrally rotatably connected to the first, second rotating shaft, a clutch drum of the first, second clutch is integrally rotatably connected to the rotating member and has a third rotating shaft member, and bearings are provided between the second rotating shaft and the non-rotating shaft member, between the second rotating shaft and the first rotating shaft member, and between the second rotating shaft member and the third rotating shaft member.

A hybrid vehicle drive apparatus, including a prime-mover-output-shaft, a transmission-input-shaft and a motor-rotor provided therebetween, each rotatable around an axis-line, a first-clutch arranged radially inward of the rotor to connect/disconnect the output-shaft and the motor, a second clutch arranged radially inward of the rotor axially in tandem with the first-clutch to connect/disconnect the motor and the input-shaft, and a cover-member having a radially extending first, second-sidewall-members and a substantially cylindrical connection-member connecting the first, second-sidewall-members, integrally rotatable with the motor, forming a clutch-chamber enclosing the first, second-clutches by means of the first, second-sidewall-members and the connection-member, and formed with an oil-discharge-port connecting the clutch-chamber and a drain-oil-chamber sideward of the clutch-chamber, wherein the cover-member has first, second-cover-members axially disassemblable at the connection-member and each having a fitting-member fitted integrally rotatable with each other.

A planetary gear has a sun gear having external teeth on an outer peripheral side, a plurality of pinion gears engaged with the sun gear, a carrier supporting the plurality of pinion gears, a circular oil catch plate on an end of the carrier, and a rotation member having a ring gear, on an outer peripheral side of the carrier and the oil catch plate. An engaging element engaged with the rotation member is disposed on an outer periphery of the planetary gear. The oil catch plate includes an open close valve which opens a passage at at least a predetermined rotation number. Lubrication oil supplied to the planetary gear is guided to the engaging element through the passage when the open/close valve is opened. This enables adjusting of the lubrication amount in accordance with a variation occurring in a ratio of a lubrication amount to each part.

Lubrication structure for driving force transmission device

An oil strainer for a vehicle transmission includes a body case, a suction port member, a suction port, and a connection tube. The body case contains a filtering member. The suction port member is separated from the body case. The suction port is provided in the suction port member. The connection tube has flexibility or stretchability and connects the body case to the suction port member. The connection tube has a structure which is bent or which is expanded and contracted to allow the suction port member to move while following a change in an oil surface of oil in a transmission casing of the vehicle transmission so that the suction port is not exposed at the oil surface when a position of the oil surface varies due to lean of a vehicle or acceleration/deceleration applied to the vehicle.

Oil strainer for vehicle transmission

A vehicle engine starting device includes a drive starter gear provided on an output shaft of a transmission and a driven starter gear provided on a crankshaft of an engine are meshed, not only is it possible to start the engine by cranking the crankshaft by means of the driving force transmitted from a driven wheel without requiring a starter motor, but it is also possible to prevent the dragging of the transmission since the driving force is not transmitted to the crankshaft via the transmission. Further, since the gear ratio of the drive starter gear and the driven starter gear is set so that the rotational speed of the crankshaft attains a rotational speed that can start the engine when the vehicle speed reaches a predetermined vehicle speed for starting the engine, it is possible to reliably start the engine by cranking the crankshaft at an optimum speed.

Engine starting device for vehicle

An automatic transmission includes an input shaft, first, second, third, and fourth planetary gear sets, a plurality of engagement mechanisms, and an output member. The input shaft is rotatably supported inside a transmission case to be rotated by a driving force received from a drive source. The first, second, third, and fourth planetary gear sets are arranged in sequence along an axis line of the input shaft and each include three elements having a sun gear, a carrier, and a ring gear. The plurality of engagement mechanisms each releasably connect two of the three elements with each other or releasably connect one of the three elements to the transmission case. The output member is disposed on outer circumferences of the second and third planetary gear sets and connected to the ring gear of one of the second and third planetary gear sets to output rotation of the input shaft.

Automatic transmission

A pinion lubrication structure of a planetary gear mechanism includes a hollow portion, an annular oil catcher, an oil gallery, and an aperture. The annular oil catcher is supported by a carrier to collect oil to flow into the hollow portion. The oil is supplied outward in a radial direction from a central portion of the planetary gear mechanism. The oil is supplied to an inner peripheral surface of a pinion through the oil gallery. The oil gallery extends from an inside of the hollow portion through a pinion shaft in the radial direction. The aperture is provided at an axial end of the pinion shaft to be connected to the hollow portion. A distance from an axis to an outer end of the aperture in the radial direction is smaller than a distance from the axis to an outer end of the hollow portion in the radial direction.

Pinion lubrication structure of planetary gear mechanism

An automatic transmission includes an input shaft, first to fourth planetary gear mechanisms and first to seventh engagement devices. Ten forward gears of the automatic transmission are established by bringing at least three of the first to seventh engagement devices into an engagement state.

An automatic transmission includes an input shaft, an output member, a first planetary gear system, a second planetary gear system, a third planetary gear system, a fourth planetary gear system, and an engagement mechanism. The input shaft is configured to be rotated with power of a driving source relative to the transmission case. The output member is to output rotation of the input shaft using multiple gear-shifting. An automatic transmission includes an input shaft, a first planetary gear mechanism, a second planetary gear mechanism, a third planetary gear mechanism, a fourth planetary gear mechanism, a first engagement device, a second engagement device, a third engagement device, a fourth engagement device, a fifth engagement device, a sixth engagement device, and a seventh engagement device.
