A coaxial connector includes an insulation housing having a receptacle opening portion for receiving a central conductive member of a coaxial plug; an outer conductive member for detachably attaching an outer conductive member of the coaxial plug; a connection member; a switching spring member capable of being elastically deformed downwardly; and an insulation member fixed to the connection member or the switching spring member so that the insulation member is situated between the connection member and the switching spring member. The switching spring member is pushed and displaced so that the switching spring member is disconnected from the connection member when the coaxial plug is inserted into the insulation housing. The connection member is pushed to displace the switching spring member through the insulation member so that the switching spring member is disconnected from the connection member when the coaxial plug is inserted into the insulation housing.

Coaxial connector

A coaxial connector includes an insulation housing having a receptacle opening portion for receiving a coaxial plug; an outer conductive member; a first terminal disposed below the receptacle opening portion; a second terminal disposed below the first terminal; and an insulation member disposed between the first terminal and the second terminal. The first terminal includes a first contact portion for contacting with a central conductive member of the coaxial plug. The second terminal includes a second contact portion for contacting with the central conductive member. The first terminal further includes a third contact portion, and the second terminal further includes a fourth contact portion for contacting with the third contact portion when the coaxial plug is not inserted into the insulation housing.

A coaxial connector with a switch comprises an insulative housing ( ) having an opening ( ), an outer conductor ( ) provided outside the insulative housing ( ), a fixed terminal ( ) having a contact portion ( ), and a movable terminal ( ) having a fixed portion ( ) and a cantilevered flexible portion ( ). The flexible portion ( ) has at least one cut-off portion ( ). Switch-equipped coaxial connector

A switch-equipped coaxial connector comprises an insulating housing consisting of a plurality of insulating housing sections. The connector further comprises a pair of switching members provided in any each of the insulating housing sections and electrically connected to each other when the insulating housing sections are assembled into one body. One of the switching members is separated from the other of the switching members and brought into contact with a mating pin when a mating connector is inserted into an elongated cavity of the coaxial connector.

The insulating housing of a switch-equipped coaxial connector is divided into two housing sections (,A and,B). A pair of switching members (,A and,B) are provided in the respective housing sections and connected when the housing sections are assembled into one body.
