A sheet conveyance apparatus configured to convey a sheet includes a casing, a belt unit, an accommodating unit, a moving unit, and a rotary member. The accommodating unit and the belt unit move to a first state, a second state, and a third state. In the first state, the accommodating unit is positioned at a closed position and the belt unit is positioned at a first position to convey the sheet by a conveyance belt. In the second state, the accommodating unit is positioned at an opening position and the belt unit is positioned at the first position to open a sheet conveyance path. In the third state, the accommodating unit is positioned at the opening position and the belt unit is positioned at a second position to allow the conveyance belt to attach to and detach from the belt unit.

Sheet conveyance apparatus and image forming apparatus

A contact member comes into contact with a back surface of a recording material between a nip portion and a transfer portion in a conveyance direction of the recording material. The contact member is capable of being located at a first position, a second position, and a third position. A detection unit detects a position of the contact member so that the detection unit can detect the first position, the second position, and the third position. The contact member reaches the third position by being biased by the recording material from the second position.

Image forming apparatus

An image forming apparatus includes a belt rotating member forming, with the rotating member, a nip portion for fixing a toner image to the recording medium, first and second rollers rotatably supporting the belt rotating member, a stepping motor tilting the first roller, an output unit outputting an amount-of-rotation signal instructing an amount of rotation of a rotor in the stepping motor, an electric current control unit controlling electric current to be fed to a coil in the stepping motor based on the amount-of-rotation signal, and a notifying unit. The notifying unit provides a predetermined notification in a state that an image formation process can be executed based on an output from a detecting unit configured to detect a position of the first roller and a value counted by a measuring unit counting the amount of rotation instructed by the output unit.

An image forming apparatus including a sheet storage portion in which a plurality of sheets is stored; a heater which heats air; a fan which sprays air on the sheet stored in the sheet storage portion; and a controller which controls the heat of the heater and controls the drive of the fan, in which the controller controls the heat of the heater at a first temperature before a drive time of the fan reaches a threshold value set in advance, the drive time being in which the fan sprays air heated by the heater on the sheet, and when the drive time of the fan reaches or exceeds the threshold value set in advance, controls the heat of the heater at a second temperature lower than the first temperature.

An image heating apparatus includes an endless belt for heating an image on a sheet in a nip; a supporting roller for rotatably supporting the endless belt; a displacing mechanism for displacing the supporting roller so as to maintain the endless belt in a predetermined zone in a widthwise direction; an electrical discharging member for electrically discharging the endless belt; and a holding member for holding the electrical discharging member so as to displace together with the supporting roller.
