A power device includes a substrate portion and a connector plug. The substrate portion defines a recess portion and a pair of receiving grooves, and includes at least one contact terminal. The connector plug includes a main body and a pair of conducting strips protruding outwardly from the main body. The main body defines at least one receiving slot. The pair of conducting strips are received in the receiving grooves correspondingly and the contact terminals slide into the corresponding receiving slots to accommodate the connector plug in the substrate portion. The main body and the recess portion are in a square shape respectively, so that the connector plug is capable of turning for 90 degrees relative to the substrate portion to be mounted on the substrate portion.

A voltage detection circuit includes a voltage obtaining circuit for transforming an AC signal into a voltage signal, an over-voltage detection circuit connected to the voltage obtaining circuit, and an under-voltage detection circuit connected to the voltage obtaining circuit. The over-voltage detection circuit is for determining whether the AC signal is over-voltage, and generating an over-voltage signal if the voltage signal is over-voltage. The over-voltage detection circuit includes a first transistor. The first transistor includes a first control electrode electrically connected to the voltage obtaining circuit, a first electrode, and a second electrode. The under-voltage detection circuit is for determining whether the AC signal is under-voltage, and generating an under-voltage signal if the voltage signal is under-voltage. The under-voltage detection circuit includes a second transistor. The second transistor includes a second control electrode electrically connected to the voltage obtaining circuit, a third electrode, and a fourth electrode.

Driving device for discharge lamps and voltage detection circuit used therein

A driving device for driving a lamp (L) includes a power stage circuit (), a transformer circuit (), a resonance circuit () and a PWM controller (). The power stage circuit converts a received direct current (DC) signal to an alternating current (AC) signal. The transformer circuit is connected to the power stage circuit, for stepping up the AC signal. The transformer circuit includes a transformer and a capacitor. The transformer has a primary winding and a secondary winding. The capacitor is connected between a high voltage terminal and a low voltage terminal of the secondary winding of the transformer. The PWM controller is connected to the power stage circuit, for controlling output of the power stage circuit.

Device for driving light source module

A dimming mode selecting circuit () includes a switch circuit () and a compensation circuit (). The switch circuit selects a first input voltage or a second input voltage according to an input signal. The compensation circuit connects to the switch circuit, for compensating voltage loss of the first input voltage or the second input voltage in the dimming mode selecting circuit, and outputting a first compensated input voltage or a second compensated input voltage according to the switch circuit. In the invention, the dimming mode selecting circuit combines a hysteresis circuit () with the compensation circuit, to make the input signal stably and the output signal reliably. The structure of the circuit is simple.
