An exhaust gas purification apparatus includes a first exhaust pipe, a first housing, a second exhaust pipe, and a second housing. The first exhaust pipe is coupled to an engine. The first housing is coupled to a downstream end of the first exhaust pipe and houses a three-way catalyst. The second exhaust pipe is coupled to a downstream end of the first housing. The second housing is coupled to a downstream end of the second exhaust pipe and houses a nitrogen oxide occlusion catalyst. The three-way catalyst comprises a first region and a second region. The second region has a lower oxygen storage capacity than the first region. The first region is located on a center axis of a flow of gas that is to be sent from the first exhaust pipe into the first housing.

Exhaust gas purification apparatus

A vehicle includes an exhaust passage including an exhaust cleaner, an engine coupled to the exhaust passage, fuel injection valves, and a control device. The fuel injection valves are respectively provided in cylinders of the engine and inject fuel into the cylinders. The control device performs, after main-injection, post-injection control that causes the fuel injection valves to perform post-injection. The control device determines a fuel injection amount for single-time post-injection performed by each fuel injection valve such that the fuel injection amount for the single-time post-injection is greater than a fuel injection amount when the post-injection is performed in every combustion cycle in all the cylinders. The control device performs the post-injection control such that how many times the post-injection is performed is less than how many times the post-injection is performed in a case in which the post-injection is performed in every combustion cycle in all the cylinders.

Fuel injection control device

An engine control device includes an air amount detector, a requested torque acquisitor, a search axis value acquisitor, a storage, and a control target value acquisitor. The air amount detector detects an actual amount of intake air. The requested torque acquisitor acquires a requested torque. In a region of a lean burn region where the actual amount of intake air increases as the requested torque increases, the search axis value acquisitor acquires a value corresponding to the actual amount of intake air. In a region of the of the lean burn region where the actual amount of intake air does not increase as the requested torque increases, the search axis value acquisitor acquires a value corresponding to the requested torque. The control target value acquisitor acquires a control target value of an engine device by searching a device control map using an acquired search axis value.

Engine control device

According to one embodiment, an interpolation frame generation apparatus generates an interpolation frame image to be inserted between continuous frame images. The interpolation frame generation apparatus includes a motion vector detection module and a generation module. The motion vector detection module is configured to execute block matching processing in each of a plurality of blocks included in the continuous frame images and specify one motion vector on an interpolation frame. The generation module is configured to, for an interpolation block in which the motion vector detection module specifies one motion vector, generate an interpolation frame image based on the motion vector, and for an interpolation block in which the motion vector detection module does not specify one motion vector, generate an interpolation frame image based on the frame image containing no motion vector component.

According to one embodiment, an image processing apparatus includes a resolution increasing module and a moving-image improving module. The resolution increasing module that performs, on receipt of a first video signal with first resolution, super resolution conversion on the first video signal to obtain a second video signal with second resolution that is higher than the first resolution by estimating an original pixel value from the first video signal and increasing the pixels. The moving-image improving module that increases the frame rate of the second video signal after the super resolution conversion.

According to one embodiment, interpolated frame generating method of generating a new interpolated frame inserted between sequential frames, by using a plurality of input frame images, comprises first detecting of detecting at least one potential motion vector by block matching between the input frame images, using a first block of a fixed size, second detecting of detecting a motion vector by block matching between the input frame images, using a second block having a size variable within a range larger than that of the first block, and generating the interpolated frame by using the potential motion vector. Thus, the method can confirm a lost circulation layer, i.e., the size, the place and the direction of the underground crack to further determine whether further drilling is necessary or not.

A method of collecting geothermal steam using Acoustic Emission Microseismic Activity (AE/MA) measurement includes the steps of (a) surveying an AE wave emitted in subsurface cracks to obtain the size of a water permeable geothermal reservoir by analyzing the AE wave, (b) further surveying the AE wave emitted in and around the periphery of the geothermal reservoir, (c) operating the wellhead valve of the geothermal well connected with the geothermal reservoir, thereby extending or preventing the extension of the geothermal reservoir in accordance with the information obtained in step (a) and/or step (b), thereby stably obtaining a predetermined quantity of steam of high quality. Thus, the method can stably obtain geothermal steam of high quality by accurately surveying or monitoring subsurface cracks by an AE measurement technique and propagating the subsurface cracks or suppressing the propagation of the cracks.
