Robotic lawn mower

A blower may include an air passage including an air intake hole and an air discharge hole; a fan disposed in the air passage and passing air from the air intake hole to the air discharge hole; a control unit; and a chamber that houses the control unit. The chamber may include a first communication hole communicating outside of the blower to the chamber, and a second communication hole communicating a part of the air passage disposed on an air intake hole side relative to the fan to the chamber. The chamber may include a cooling air passage which allows air having flowed in from the first communication hole to flow out from the second communication hole via the control unit. The first communication hole may be disposed on the air intake hole side relative to the fan with respect to a direction along a rotation axis of the fan.

Blower

A backpack work apparatus comprises a back carrier frame; a drive motor mounted on the back carrier frame; a work tool driven by the drive motor; a right and left shoulder straps; a chest strap linking the intermediate points of the right and left shoulder straps; and an emergency release buckle device provided at the point where the chest strap is coupled to the intermediate point of the left shoulder strap, which is divided by the buckle device into two parts, an upper strap and a lower strap. The buckle device normally buckles the chest strap, the upper strap and the lower strap, and is capable of releasing the lower strap and the chest strap from the upper strap via a one part motion in an emergency.

Backpack work apparatus

A work apparatus is comprised of a blower unit including a drive motor, a volute casing, a fan rotatably supported within the volute casing and driven by the drive motor, and an airflow duct connected to the volute casing, thereby blowing out or sucking in air through the airflow duct; and of an airflow tube coupled to the airflow duct of the blower unit and having an open distal end for blowing out or sucking in air through the airflow tube. The airflow tube is provided with a grip handle adapted for being held and operated by the operator. Within the airflow tube is arranged an electrically conductive wire at least between the grip handle and the open distal end, beyond which is provided an electrically grounding wire connected to the electrically conductive wire and drooping therefrom to be touchable to earth.

Work apparatus

A work apparatus includes a drive motor, a tool head including a tool frame, a bearing, a tool shaft and a rotary tool, a frame tube with the proximal end connected to the drive motor and the distal end connected to the tool head, and a drive shaft rotatably inserted through the frame tube for transmitting the rotation of the drive motor to the rotary tool. The rotary tool is accommodated within the tool frame and is rotatable on the tool shaft, when driven by the drive shaft. The tool shaft is journaled by the bearing which is elastically supported by a flexible elastic member disposed coaxially around the bearing and interposed between the bearing and the connection of the tool frame or the frame tube. Undesirable vibrations caused by the rotation of the rotary tool will be effectively hindered from being transmitted to the frame tube.
