An optoelectronic code reading apparatus is provided that has at least one camera-based code reader having an image sensor for recording image data from a reading zone, that has a control and evaluation unit that comprises a decoding unit for locating code zones in the image data and for reading their code content, and that has a filter unit to determine whether a multiple reading has taken place in which a plurality of codes were read. In this respect, the filter unit is furthermore configured to check the geometry of the code zones in the case of a multiple reading to identify a valid code.

Optoelectronic code reading apparatus and method of reading codes

A conveying apparatus for transporting and for measuring an object includes a sensor having a light transmitter arranged at a conveyor belt and transmits first light beams in the direction of the conveyor belt. The sensor also has a light receiver that is arranged at the conveyor belt and that receives second light beams. The sensor further has an evaluation device for determining a dimension of the object by evaluating the received second light beams. The conveyor belt is an endless conveyor belt that is driven by at least one drive unit and that moves in a main conveying direction. At least one gap is provided in the endless conveyor belt free of interruption, through which gap the first light beams pass, and the first light beams form a scan plane in the at least one gap transversely to the main conveying direction of the conveyor belt.

Conveying apparatus

The invention relates to a method for the localization of gripping points of objects, wherein the objects are scanned by means of a 3D sensor and the objects are illuminated by means of at least one first illumination unit while the objects are detected by means of a camera, wherein the relative positions of the 3D sensor, of the first illumination unit and of the camera with respect to one another are known and the 3D sensor, the first illumination unit and the camera are arranged in a fixed position with respect to one another. In this respect, the boundary of the objects is determined from a two-dimensional image generated by the camera, a spatial position is determined from detected distance information of the 3D sensor and of the two-dimensional image and the gripping points for the objects are determined from the boundaries and from the spatial position of the objects.

To obtain a high-resolution image on a detection of a contour of an object, an image detection system for detecting an object is provided which comprises a defined detection zone in which the object moved through the detection zone is detectable; at least two lighting units for lighting the detection zone with a respective light beam; and at least two light reception units for receiving light reflected at the object, wherein one respective lighting unit is associated with a light reception unit, and wherein the lighting units each transmit their light beams at a defined light wavelength and the light reception units are configured to receive a respective light wavelength of the reflected light associated with them, wherein the one light reception unit receives a different light wavelength than the other light reception unit.

The invention relates to an RFID reading tunnel for identifying objects by means of RFID having a screen for electromagnetic radiation which forms the tunnel and has side walls and a cover part, a cover device or conveying device for the object in or through the tunnel and at least one RFID reader having at least one RFID antenna. To provide an improved RFID reading tunnel which is less expensive and can be installed more easily, it is proposed that the screen is formed by modules which can be variably and releasably connected to one another and that the modules are selected from a kit of predefined modules.

A scanning method for optical scanning of a body includes illuminating the body by a lighting unit and a light receiver unit receives light transmitted from the lighting unit to the body and reflected by the body so that a scanning zone of a scanning unit is defined by the lighting unit and the light receiver unit. Two scanning units each having a scanning region are used, which overlap at least in part in an overlap zone, and at least when the surface of the body is in an overlap zone, the scanning sensitivity of at least one of the scanning units is reduced at least for the overlap zone. At least one scanning unit is used which is configured and/or arranged such that it can scan a part of the body which is as large as possible. A scanning apparatus is also provided for carrying out the scanning method.

The invention relates to an optoelectronic code reader and to a method for the reading in of codes, which move relative to the code reader within a reading zone, by scanning the reading zone at least along one scan direction. For the reading of codes which are arranged along the scan direction at different distances to the code reader, at least one first scanning device and one second scanning device are provided which are controlled along the scan direction at different focal positions.
