A header of a combine harvester has a center part connected by an attachment frame to the combine feed channel. A first side part with first lateral frame and a second side part with second lateral frame are adjustable for changing their position relative to the center part. The first and second lateral frames are connected by a first ball joint and a second ball joint to the attachment frame, respectively so that the weight of the first and second lateral frames is supported by the first and second ball joints on the attachment frame. The first and second ball joints form first and second pivot axes. An end of the first lateral frame facing away from the center part is pivotable about the first pivot axis. An end of the second lateral frame facing away from the center part is pivotable about the second pivot axis.

A header for attachment to an agricultural machine is provided with a frame, a driven moveable cutting device connected to the frame, and a driven movable conveying device connected to the frame. A gearbox is connected to the frame and transmits a drive force onto the cutting device and the conveying device. The gearbox is provided with an input gearbox arranged in a first housing and a main gearbox arranged in a second housing. A separation site is formed between the input gearbox and the main gearbox. The input gearbox is arranged at a back of the header. The input gear box is a rotary speed adapter exchangeable for a gearbox with different gearing ratio.

An agricultural cutting device has knife bar sections with section knife blades. A drive with phase offset drives the knife bar sections at least temporarily in opposite directions. The section knife blades interact scissor-like with counter knives. The knife bar sections have adjacently positioned bar ends. When the knife bar sections move, a gap of varying size is formed between the bar ends. A mowing finger is arranged at the gap. A stationary knife blade with first cutting edges is arranged at the mowing finger. The first cutting edges are arranged adjacent to the mowing finger and extend at a slant relative to a forward travel direction of the cutting device so that the cutting edges have a V-shaped arrangement broadening in travel direction. The knife bar sections have an outer knife blade attached to the bar ends whose cutting edges extend parallel to the travel direction.

Cutting device for agricultural machines

An attachment device for harvesting stalky stem material is provided with stem dividers; cutting devices cutting the stalky stem material; conveying devices conveying the cut stalky stem material; picking units distributed across a working width of the attachment device and provided with picking rollers and picking gaps to separate fruit from the stalks; milling devices associated with the picking units; and a device collecting and combining the fruit separated from the stalks. Drivable stalk supports are arranged in a travel direction of the attachment device upstream of the picking units and positioned vertically spaced relative to the picking units and to the cutting devices. Pivotable support arms support the stalk supports. The stalk supports are moved by the support arms in a longitudinal direction, with respect to the vertical position, and with respect to an attack angle, and are adjusted with respect to their rotary speed.

A corn head attachment has a sweeper device extending across a working width of the corn head attachment. The sweeper device is attached to the attachment frame by support arms pivotable about a first pivot. The sweeper device position relative to the frame is adjustable by a longitudinal adjusting device parallel to the travel direction and height-adjustable about the first pivots. The adjusting device moves the sweeper device along a curved path in a first direction away from a first position, in which a rotary axle of the sweeper device is at a leading area of a harvesting slot, into a second position above a rearward area of the harvesting slot and also moves the sweeper device in opposite direction. The adjustment of the sweeper device along the curved path is controlled by a forced guiding action to avoid collision of the sweeper device with other corn head attachment components.
