A cooking device includes a cooking chamber wall delimiting at least partially a cooking chamber for receiving food to be cooked. A fan generates a cooling air flow for cooling an outer side of the cooking chamber wall such as to produce an intake region, in which there is a negative pressure in relation to a surrounding area, and a blow-out region, in which there is an excess pressure in relation to the surrounding area. A short-circuit device generates a short-circuit air flow between the blow-out region and the intake region, thereby generating a pressure-neutral region. The cooking chamber wall has a vapor outlet in communication with the cooking chamber for discharging vapor from the cooking chamber into the pressure-neutral region.

A connecting element for providing an electrical connection in a processing space of a household appliance, includes a protruding, longitudinally displaceable contact pin configured for displacement between a rest position protruding farther and an operating position protruding less far, wherein the contact pin pushes into the rest position. The connecting element is disposed on a side wall of the processing space, particularly a cooking space. An insert module can be inserted in the processing space of the household appliance and can be operated electrically. The insert module has a mating electrical connection element for contacting the connecting element.

A cooking compartment door of a cooking oven having a pyrolysis function in the cooking compartment, includes a borosilicate glass pane forming at least a portion of the cooking compartment door. The borosilicate glass pane is provided at least in sections with a colored layer. The colored layer provides impact resistance to the borosilicate glass pane by being applied to the surface of the borosilicate glass pane on the side opposite the cooking compartment. The colored layer is resistant to temperatures up to four hundred degrees Celsius and is not joined to the borosilicate glass pane surface by melting.

A high-level built-in oven unit having a housing with a heated cooking chamber having a floor opening therein. The chamber has a lowerable trap-door movable between a position closing the floor opening and a lowered position opening the floor opening. The trap-door is movable by a lifting device, which has lifting elements mounted outside of the cooking chamber.

An oven includes a cooking chamber. A cooling-air fan is disposed outside the cooking chamber. An intake opening leads to the cooling-air fan and an exhaust duct leads from the cooling-air fan into the open air. A holding section associated with the exhaust duct has a bearing plate for a motor of the cooling-air fan, in order to reduce mounting expenditures.

A cooking appliance door has a door base. A front panel is secured at the front side and an inner panel is secured at the rear side of the door base. Cooking-product support brackets are fastened to the rear side of the cooking appliance door. In order to ensure a stable fastening of the cooking-product support brackets, they are fastened to the door base with fastening elements that extend through openings in the inner panel.

An oven muffle has mutually spaced apart inner and outer insulating walls. An insulation layer composed of particulate material is disposed in an interstice between the inner and the outer insulating walls. At least one of the insulating walls is pretensioned toward the respective other insulating wall in order to exert a permanent pressure on the insulation layer.

A heating home appliance, in particular a household appliance such as an oven, includes an appliance space having at least one heating body. At least one multi-ply layer of air-tight foils at least partly surrounds the appliance space, enclosing air chambers, being at least peripherally joined together and otherwise being kept mutually spaced apart from one another. The at least one foil layer has foil edges, with an air-tight-sealed edge on all sides being formed of the foil edges and forming a flexible fastening and/or connecting element.
