A false twist texturing apparatus for false twist texturing a plurality of synthetic yarns in a plurality of processing stations, which each comprise a plurality of feed roll systems, a primary heater, a cooling device, a false twist unit, a secondary heater, and a takeup device. For accommodating the takeup devices, a takeup module is provided, and a processing module is provided for accommodating the false twist units, with a doffing aisle being formed along the takeup module and a servicing aisle along the processing module. To realize a short yarn path, the processing module and the takeup module are joined to form a frame section arranged between the servicing aisle and the doffing aisle. In this arrangement, the yarn passage from the processing module to the takeup module is formed by the secondary heater which is horizontally oriented, so that the yarn is guided between the false twist unit and the takeup device on the frame section along a generally U-shaped path.

False twist texturing apparatus

A texturing machine for producing a crimped yarn and which has a plurality of serially arranged yarn processing units leading to a takeup device. A threading device is provided for threading a yarn for the first time before the start of a process. For this purpose, the threading device comprises at least one guide tube and an air injector connected thereto, with the guide tube including a suction inlet for receiving the yarn. In accordance with the invention, a cutting device is arranged in the region of the suction inlet of the guide tube, with the cutting device cutting the yarn while being threaded into the suction inlet.

Yarn texturing machine

A yarn texturing machine for texturing a plurality of thermoplastic yarns, each in a processing station. The yarns are guided and advanced in each processing station by a plurality of feed systems. One of the feed systems comprises a driven feed roll which is partially looped by the advancing yarn, and a guide member mounted for movement relative to the feed roll for movement between a threading position wherein the yarn is separated from the feed roll and an operating position wherein the yarn engages the feed roll.

An apparatus and method for guiding and cutting a continuously advancing yarn ( ) during a package doff in a takeup device. The yarn is guided by means of a yarn guide ( ) which is movable substantially parallel to a package or to a new tube ( ), which is driven by a drive roll ( ). To enable a gentle processing of the yarn during the package doff, the yarn guide ( ) is arranged in the path of the advancing yarn upstream of the driven tube ( ), and a deflection device ( ) as well as the suction device ( ) are arranged downstream of the driven tube. For catching and winding initial layers on a new tube ( ) that is driven by the drive roll ( ), the yarn is guided by the deflection device ( ) and the yarn guide ( ) outside of the range of contact between the tube ( ) and the drive roll ( ).

Apparatus and method for guiding and cutting an advancing yarn during a package doff

A yarn texturing machine for texturing a plurality of thermoplastic yarns, each in a processing station. The yarns are guided and advanced in each processing station by a plurality of feed systems. One of the feed systems is mounted on a movable slide, and the slide is guided by means of a slide element along a guide rail and moved by means of a linear drive between a servicing position and an operating position. For a transfer of force, the slide element connects to a drive via a cable line extending along the guide rail.

Takeup machine with threadup device

A yarn false twist texturing machine having a vertically adjustable device for threading and guiding the advancing yarn at a location between the heater and the cooling plate of the machine. The threading and guiding device comprises a tubular casing having a rodless magnetic piston mounted for sliding movement therein, and a magnetic sliding element and a yarn guide mounted for sliding movement on the outside of the tubular casing. The polarity of the magnetic sliding element is opposite that of the rodless magnetic piston so that the magnetic sliding element follows the movement of the magnetic piston, and the magnetic piston is moved by compressed air delivered into either one or both ends of the tubular casing.

Yarn threading and guiding device for false twist texturing machine

A yarn false twist texturing machine in which an advancing yarn is deflected by a feed yarn guide at a deflection position which is between a heater and a cooling member, and which is at an elevation outside the reach of the machine operator. The feed yarn guide is height adjustable, and it is disposed on a sliding element, which is movable upwards and downwards on a guide rail by means of a linear drive. In the event the electrical energy supply of the machine fails, the linear drive is activated by means of a control device in such a way that the sliding element and the yarn guide move downwardly to a predetermined parking position just below the yarn deflection position, so as to automatically remove the yarn from the heater and thereby prevent yarn damage.
