Described is a seat track stud for attaching a passenger seat to a seat track having a first stud member, a second stud member, and a pin. The first stud member includes a base portion with at least one flanged edge, a first securing portion extending from the base portion and defining a first securing portion opening; and a second securing portion extending from the base portion at a location opposite the first securing portion and defining a second securing portion opening. The second stud member includes a connecting portion that defines a connecting portion opening and that is sized to fit between the first securing portion and the second securing portion. The pin extends through the first securing portion opening, the connecting portion opening, and the second securing portion opening.

Seat track stud with roll freedom

Described are track fitting assemblies having bodies for attaching a leg of a passenger seat to a seat track. The body includes an underside, a first lateral side, a second lateral side, a first through-hole, and a second through-hole. The underside is configured to be connected with a stud that extends from the body. The first lateral side extends upward from the underside. The second lateral side is positioned opposite the first lateral side and extends upward from the underside. The first through-hole extends through the first lateral side and the second lateral side. The second through-hole extends through the first lateral side and the second lateral side. The second through-hole and the first through-hole are positioned for defining alternate attachment interfaces for attachment to the leg of the passenger seat.

Adjustable pitch seat track fitting

Described are track fitting assemblies for passenger seats. Each track fitting assembly includes a track fitting main body and an anti-rattle shear body. The track fitting main body is connectable to a leg of the passenger seat and includes a forward end, an aft end, and at least one stud configured to engage a track. The anti-rattle shear body is positionable on the track fitting main body and is movable relative to the track fitting main body. The anti-rattle shear body includes a forward end, an aft end, and a plunger at the forward end and configured to engage the track. The anti-rattle shear body is connected to the track fitting main body such that the plunger of the anti-rattle shear body is forward of the forward end of the track fitting main body.

Rear track fitting for passenger seat

Described are table assemblies for a passenger seat. The table assemblies may include a paddle arm, a table support, and a leveling assembly. A first end of the paddle arm may include a paddle arm tab extending outwards from the paddle arm. The table support may be pivotably connected to the first end and configured to support a table. The table support may include a top side that defines a latch receiving area. The leveling assembly may include a latch and a latch adjuster. The latch may be pivotably supported on the table support within the latch receiving area. The latch adjuster may selectively engage a first end of the latch and control a tilt angle range of the table support. The latch adjuster may engage the latch at a first tilt angle, and the paddle arm tab may engage the latch at a second tilt angle.

A spring clutch arm assembly includes a moveable arm comprising a retracted configuration and a deployed configuration, a fixed shaft, and a spring portion comprising a moving portion with a distal end and a coil portion wrapped around the fixed shaft. The moveable arm may include a moveable member. The distal end may be attached to the moveable member. The moveable arm may be held in the deployed configuration by the spring portion.

Described are mounting assemblies for securing aircraft passenger seats, including a beam, an adaptor, and fasteners. The beam can include holes spaced along a flat upper surface. The adaptor can be supported by the beam and include a channel, a bottom thickness, and apertures extending through the bottom thickness. The fasteners can extend through the adaptor's apertures and the beam's holes to secure the adaptor to the beam. The adaptor can receive a fitting of a passenger seat in the channel to secure the passenger seat relative to the beam.

A beam clamp () for a passenger seat includes a keyhole () configured to flex outwardly from an un-flexed position to a flexed position. The diameter of the keyhole in the un-flexed position is less than the diameter of the keyhole in the flexed position. A method of assembling the passenger seat includes assembling a seat base and connecting a seat back to the seat base. Assembling the seat base includes flexing the keyhole of the beam clamp outwards from the un-flexed position to the flexed position and inserting a support beam within the keyhole in the flexed position.

Addressed are couplings for transferring rotational motion from one shaft to another. The couplings may include flexible components and may be designed to accommodate angular, axial, and parallel misalignments. Included as components of the couplings may be hub portions, each having dowel pins and clearance holes, and a center member positioned intermediate the hub portions.

Mounting interface systems and methods for purposes of testing seat tracks

A track fitting assembly for removably securing a seat through a swivel bearing to a generally channel-shaped track secured to the fuselage of an aircraft. The track fitting assembly includes a forged body member having spaced track lugs projecting laterally from a narrow finger portion. The body member has a socket which receives a threaded shear plunger adjusting screw such that a head on the adjusting screw moves into the socket to indicate when the shear plunger is properly seated to lock the track lugs in the track.

An improved aircraft seat having a base frame including leg assemblies for supporting front and rear horizontal stretcher tubes and spreaders. A bottom diaphragm supporting a bottom seat cushion of an individual passenger seat is positioned between two of the spreaders and is removably connected to the front and rear stretcher tubes. The bottom diaphragm is preferably a formed tray-like member of unitary construction forming an open receptacle for a floatation portion on the bottom seat cushion.

Passenger seat rear track fitting

A seat leg and track fitting assembly for removably securing a seat to a generally channel-shaped track secured to the fuselage of an aircraft. The track fitting assembly includes a forged body member having a narrow finger portion; a plurality of spaced track lugs projecting laterally from the narrow finger portion, and an enlarged boss portion having a recess formed therein. The recess extends through the narrow finger portion to form a pair of shoulders adjacent opposite sides of the recess and a plunger has surfaces positioned between the shoulders such that the shoulders limit movement of the plunger. An actuating arm is secured to the plungers in each of a plurality of track fitting assemblies to move the plungers in the recesses between first positions wherein the lower ends of the plungers are positioned adjacent the lower edge of the narrow finger portion of each body and an elevated position wherein the plungers are retracted from the track.
