The valve includes a control piston axially slidable in a cylindrical bore which controls the cross-sectional area of an orifice of a connection between the cylindrical bore communicating with a pressure port and a user port. The control piston is acted on by a spring and a pressure which is reduced relative to the pressure at the pressure port. A cushioning arrangement acting on the control piston avoids occurrence of pressure surges affecting the control piston behavior.

Flow control valve

A pressure responsive valve for distributing the fluid under pressure delivered by a fluid pressure source to two user components, one of which is connected to an accumulator. The device includes a control valve which is disposed in a line connecting the fluid pressure source with a first user component and governs the cross-section of the passage in that line. The control valve has a control chamber and cross-section reducing member when the control chamber is in communication with the fluid pressure source. When the control chamber communicates with the return line the cross-sectional area of the passage increases. In addition a pilot and/or stop valve is included which changes its position depending upon the pressure existing in the line connecting the fluid pressure source with the second user component. The pilot/stop valve provides for communication between the control chamber and the fluid pressure source below a predetermined switching pressure at the second user component and connects the control chamber with the return line when the switching pressure is exceeded and interrupts the connection from the source to the second user component until the pressure at the second user component drops below the switching pressure.

Pressure responsive distributing valve

Disclosed are a rotor and a method for manufacturing a rotor for vane-type engines. The rotor includes radial slots which guide vanes extending from spring chambers within the rotor. In the practice of the method: (a) radial bores are provided in rotors to receive springs and serve as spring chambers, (b) longitudinal bores are formed in the rotors parallel to the rotor axes and intersecting the radial bores, (c) springs are placed in the spring chambers (radial bores) to extend into the longitudinal bores, (d) the radial bores are partially closed on the outside by plastic deformation of the rotor material, and (e) radial slots are formed parallel to the rotor axes to intersect the radial bores and permit vanes to extend therethrough.

Method of manufacturing a rotor for vane type engines

A pump is disclosed which incorporates regulator means to limit the discharge volume of the pump. The regulator means includes an operating piston which responds to pressure differentials caused by excessively rapid flow through a duct. The pressure difference is used to overcome a spring bias and operate a pressure relief valve.
