Arranged on the carrier are thick-film resistors and a circuit of strain-sensitive thick-film conductor tracks, which are formed in particular as a Wheatstone bridge connecting the thick-film resistors to one another. Force sensor

An electronics unit includes a low multi-point metallic mount on which an insulating layer is arranged. A conductor track system is arranged on the insulating layer and electronic power components are arranged on the conductor track system. The insulating layer is a sintered electrically insulating polymer layer on which the conductor track system, which comprises a sintered glass frit with a noble metal filling, is arranged.

Torque sensor with a bridge-circuit of thick film resistors

A method for producing an electric resistor, in particular a resistance strain gauge, in which an insulating layer and a resistive layer are sequentially applied to a carrier element. The insulating layer or the resistive layer is applied to a backing sheet, the side of the backing sheet carrying the insulating or resistive layer being covered with a flexible film layer whose adhesion to the insulating layer or resistive layer is stronger than the adhesion of the backing sheet to the insulating layer or resistive layer. The film layer with the insulating or resistive layer is peeled off of the adhesive backing sheet and applied to a carrier element, which is heated to burn off the film layer and sinter on the insulating or resistive layer.

Method for producing an electric resistor and a mechano-electric transducer

An electric contact for connecting a conductive system present on an insulating substrate, in particular for automobile windshields, in which the conductive system is connected via a conductive path with an electric mating contact. A moisture-resistant electric contact which is easy to manufacture and can be universally used consists of a conductive path which is disposed directly on a support substrate as a path-shaped conductive layer on which an electric connecting line of the conductive system is located.

Electric contact and process for producing electric contact

A sensor for detecting moisture on a non-conductive support, in particular a windshield of a motor vehicle, has one or more metallic, electrically conductive layers which are arranged in a given pattern on the outer surface of the support. The metallic, electrically conductive layer is produced from a metallic resinate which is applied to the support and then burned-in by the action of heat. Also deseribed is a method for constructing such a moisture sensor whit applies a glass layer in the form of a glass frit paste to be sintered upon the metallic electrically conductive layer, where the burning-in of the metallic resinate and the sintering of the glass frit paste are effected in single step.

Moisture sensor

A rain sensor for the windshield of a vehicle has one or more electrically conductive layers which are arranged in a given pattern upon the outer surface of such windshield, and is constructed as a laminate of conductive and resistive layers formed by process steps of printing and sintering for construction of electrodes of the sensor. A conductive layer is formed of a mixture of electrically conductive particles and a glass frit which melts at a lower temperature than a melting temperature of the material of the window which serves as a support for the sensor. The conductive paste is applied with a heating action step, in the configuration of an electrode structure, by sintering to the window.

A thick-film potentiometer having a support substrate, particularly a ceramic substrate, onto which there is applied at least one resistance track of resistance composition which is electronically contacted via conductor lines on the support substrate at its ends and under circumstances at contact points therebetween and having a wiper track which extends along the resistance track and over which a wiper is swingable. The wiper track is formed of a plurality of the conductor lines which are narrow compared with the length of the wiper track and are arranged, spaced apart from each other, substantially at right angles to the wiper track, and the resistance track is arranged on the support substrate exclusively outside of the wiper track beyond and adjacent to the conductor lines.
