An on-load tap changer head includes: a first region for an insulating fluid of the on-load tap changer to flow; a second region separated from the first region by a wall; and a detector for detecting an increased flow speed of the insulating fluid. The detector includes: a flow flap in the first region configured to tilt from a defined flow speed of the insulating fluid from a first position to a second position; a first magnet secured to the flap such that in the second position of the flow flap, the first magnet is in an immediate vicinity of the wall; a second magnet in the second region in the immediate vicinity of the wall; and a switch in the second region that is operationally coupled to the second magnet such that tilting over of the flow flap from the first position to the second position actuates the switch.

The invention relates to a bursting device () for a high-voltage device (). The bursting device () is suitable in particular for on-load tap changers or high-voltage transformers filled with a filling medium such as gas or oil. The bursting device () according to the invention has a bursting cork () with support blocks () arranged on the inner surface (B). A shear pin () is in arranged in each receiving block (), said shear pin being divided into a first portion (A) and a second portion (B). The first portion (A) of the shear pin () protrudes into the receiving block (). The second portion (B) of the shear pin () is arranged below the circumferential edge () of an opening () of the high-voltage device ().

A pressure-relief valve has a flange formed with a throughgoing port. A spring plate spaced outward from the port is mounted on a rigid post fixing the spring plate relative to the flange. A valve body between the plate and the flange can shift between a closed position engaging the seal and closing the port and an open position spaced outward from the port and permitting flow through the port; A spring braced between the spring plate and the valve body urges the valve body into the closed position. A cup-shaped housing covering the valve body, spring plate, post, and springs has an end wall spaced from the flange and a side wall projecting from the end wall toward the casing and formed with a vent opening.
