A vacuum interrupter has a cover base formed with an insertion opening for an axially movable moving contact rod carrying a moving contact. The moving contact rod is routed out of the vacuum interrupter in a vacuum-tight manner by way of a bellows. The bellows has a centering appendage which is formed by a tubular end piece of the bellows that runs parallel to the longitudinal axis of the bellows and is inserted into the insertion opening. The bellows moreover has a bellows base which is disposed on the centering appendage, runs substantially transversely to the longitudinal axis of the bellows, and is formed with a through-opening for the moving contact rod.

Vacuum interrupter

A vacuum interrupter includes at least one insulating body, a fixed contact, a fixed contact flange, a moving contact having a longitudinal axis of the moving contact, a moving contact flange, a moving contact bearing, and a bellows. The fixed contact is stationarily disposed in the fixed contact flange, the moving contact is moveably guided in the moving contact bearing and the moving contact is moveably secured to the moving contact flange by the bellows. The bellows is secured to the moving contact flange by a first bellows end and the bellows is secured to the moving contact by a second bellows end. An increased pressure resistance of the vacuum interrupter against ambient pressures over 1 bar is achieved by a sleeve which is secured to the moving contact against movements along the longitudinal axis of the moving contact, and which is guided through the moving contact bearing.

In order to optimize the production of electrical switching contacts, particularly for vacuum tubes, a Field Assisted Sintering Technology process is proposed in which an electrical or electromagnetic field supports and/or produces a sintering process for producing semifinished contact elements for electrical switching contacts, contact elements for electrical switching contacts and/or electrical switching contacts, particularly for vacuum tubes. According to an embodiment, the contact material prior to the sintering process is present in such a form that the material composition of the contact material and/or at least one property of the contact material varies in at least one body direction of the finished contact element.

Method and device for producing contact elements for electrical switching contacts

A method is disclosed for improving the production of electrical switch contacts, in particular for vacuum tubes. In the method, an electrical or electromagnetic field assists and/or effects a sintering process. In the method, the sintering process takes place on a metallic carrier, and via the method, semi-finished contact elements for electrical switch contacts, contact elements for electrical switch contacts, and/or electrical switch contacts, in particular for vacuum tubes, are produced.
