The invention relates to an electrical switch with a housing ( ). In the housing ( ) there is a contact system ( ), to which a switching effect can be applied by means of an actuating member ( ) which is arranged in an opening ( ) on the housing ( ) and partly protrudes out of the housing ( ). The part of the actuating member ( ) protruding out of the housing ( ) as well as the opening ( ) in the housing ( ) is covered by a cap ( ) allowing the movement of the actuating member ( ). The cap ( ) has a cover of a hard material and a sleeve-like part ( ) of a flexible material, designed in the manner of a bellows. The cover, designed essentially in the manner of a planar surface ( ), is arranged on the part of the actuating member ( ) protruding out of the opening ( ) in such a way that the actuating member ( ) can be moved via a side of the cover facing the user. One end of the sleeve-like part ( ) is fastened along a peripheral edge on the side of the planar surface ( ) of the cover facing away from the user. The other end of the sleeve-like part ( ) protrudes laterally beyond the surface ( ) of the cover, the protruding other end of the sleeve-like part ( ) being arranged on a region ( ) of the housing ( ) surrounding the opening ( ).

Electrical switch

A switch arrangement, in particular for domestic appliances, such as washing machines, dishwashers or the like has a housing (,) having at least one switching element which is located in the housing interior. At least one operating member is arranged on the housing, in order to act on the switching element in the sense of operating it. Furthermore, the housing has a supporting part, which has a holder for the operating member. The holder in the supporting part has an opening on the side facing the housing interior, which opening is associated with the switching element. A sealing element which is elastic in the movement direction of the operating member is fitted on the opening in the supporting part, between the switching element and the operating member, with the operating member acting on the switching element via the elastic sealing element. The sealing element is molded on the supporting part like a two-component part
