A front spoiler assembly for a motor vehicle. The front spoiler assembly includes a spoiler lip which is arranged to extend at least partially in a transverse direction of the motor vehicle in a front area of the motor vehicle. The spoiler lip includes a front side, a spoiler lip outer edge which faces away from a front part of the motor vehicle, and at least two spoiler areas. At least one actuator device moves the at least two spoiler areas either separately or together from a retracted rest position to an extended spoiler position. The at least two spoiler areas are separated from each other at the front side of the spoiler lip by at least one depression form which extends into the spoiler lip outer edge.

Front spoiler assembly for a motor vehicle

An air guiding arrangement for a motor vehicle includes: a carrier arranged on a vehicle body, and on which an air guide is mounted such that the air guide is drivable from a retracted home position to an extended maximum position by a drive, a sensor arrangement that monitors the position of the air guide and is connected to a controller so as to transmit data corresponding to the position, the sensor arrangement comprising an electric field sensor arrangement to monitor the position of the air guide, at least one electromagnetic field source is provided in the air guide, and at least one electric field receiver, which is a sensor of the sensor arrangement, is provided in the carrier and/or in the vehicle body.

Air guiding arrangement for a motor vehicle

An air-guiding arrangement for a motor vehicle has: a carrier, which is arranged on a body of the motor vehicle, and on which an air guide is provided such that it is driveable by a pneumatic drive with at least one air chamber for actuation, the at least one air chamber being arranged on the carrier such that the air guide is transferrable from a retracted basic position into a deployed maximum position, and at least one pneumatic supply line which, via at least one connector member, pneumatically connects the at least one air chamber to a pneumatics module of the pneumatic drive. The at least one pneumatic supply line is fixed to the carrier by at least one fastener.

Air-guiding arrangement for a motor vehicle

The invention relates to a rear crash element for the rear bumper of a motor vehicle in the area of the number plate recess, having an impact element seated on the crossbeam of the motor vehicle, behind which, with respect to the driving direction of the motor vehicle, a shock absorbing element is arranged. The shock absorbing element is arranged behind the bumper cladding and is covered by a plastic covering, such as a horn cladding or the like. Because the impact element is a plastic part with a large surface area which fills out approximately the entire height of the number plate recess and borders the bumper cladding, preferably over a gap, and the shock absorbing element is seated from the outside on the front side of the bumper cladding flush to the impact element, a breakthrough for the impact element on the bumper cladding is not a consideration, and the impact surface of the impact element to the crossbeam and to the bumper cladding is enlarged such that the energy applied to the bumper is better absorbed.

Crash element

A vehicle body includes a first structural component and a second structural component that form the outer shell of the body. The structural components are joined in the area of equidirectional flanges, are locally detachably connected to each other, and delimit a joint in a common connecting area towards the vehicle exterior. A positioning device, which fixes two adjoining structural parts that form the outer shell of the body in the X and Y directions with respect to each other, is provided between the two adjoining structural components in order to ensure that a flush transition on the outer shell and an even course of the joint between the two structural components is provided in inaccessible areas between two adjoining structural components.

Vehicle body

A separable connection is provided between two adjoining components, particularly skin parts of a vehicle body. A separable connection ensuring a precise positioning of the two parts as well as a fast and rapid mounting without additional tools is created in that the separable connection is formed by a clamping connection bracing the two flanges with respect to one another, which clamping connection comprises at least one plate-shaped fastening element and a slide-type elastic clamp.

Separable connection between two adjoining vehicle body skin parts and method of making same

Roof channels which extend in the longitudinal direction are constructed in laterally exterior regions on a vehicle roof of passenger cars. Fastening elements for fastening end-side carrier feet of roof racks are provided locally on the roof channels. A simple fastening for roof racks is provided on relatively narrow roof channels which allows high roof loads to be carried. Each roof rack has carrier feet which are constructed in one piece and are connected on the end side with transverse supports. The carrier feet have hollow lower end regions which are placed on projecting receiving regions of receiving adapters premounted on the roof channel and are connected therewith.

Fastening arrangement for roof racks

A fastening device for a decorative or cover strip for gaps in motor vehicle bodies, has a holding body which can be inserted and wedged into the gap and which holds the decorative or covering strip. The holding body made of several parts includes lateral bracing elements, which can be braced against lateral walls of the gap via a spreading element. The spreading element is provided between the bracing elements and is displaceable in the longitudinal direction of the gap. The decorative or cover strip can be fixed on the spreading element. In this manner, the decorative or cover strip can always be fastened centered, regardless of tolerance-related fluctuations of the gap width.

Fastening device for a decorative or cover strip

A motor vehicle has a covering part which is held in position at an adjacent body part by means of snap connections, each snap connection comprising a snap hook which engages in an assigned recess. In order to provide a cost-effective fastening of a covering part at an adjacent exterior part, with an easy mounting and a simple construction, the covering part, which is made of plastic, is fastened without any additional fastening elements at the body part, which is also made of plastic, snap hooks being locally molded to the body part, which engage in recesses of the fitted-on covering part.
