A mechanical system has a component, which is movable under friction. An oscillating micromotion (dither) is impressed upon the component, which, if necessary, is added to a non-oscillating base motion of the component. It is provided that the micromotion (without the base motion that is additional, if necessary) is faster within a period of the oscillation in the one direction and is of shorter duration than in the opposite direction (asymmetrical dither).

A drive arrangement for at least one auxiliary system of a motor vehicle, having an internal combustion engine, at least one supplementary motor, and a gear, is provided. The gear is a planetary gear which is operatively connected to the engine and the at least one supplementary motor each via a respective input shaft, and to the auxiliary system via an output shaft.

Drive arrangement for at least one secondary aggregate of a motor vehicle and method for operating the drive arrangement

Two methods for operating a motor vehicle driven by an internal combustion engine (VM) and by two electrical machines (E, E) are proposed. The motor vehicle has a transmission (G) with two power paths (LP, LP) controllable independently of one another. Each power path (LP, LP) is coupled via a respective epicyclic gear (P, P) to one of the electrical machines (LP, LP) and to the input shaft (KW) of the transmission (G) and can be coupled via shiftable gears (, R) to the output shaft (AW) of the transmission (G). The object is to make it possible to operate the motor vehicle more efficiently. To reduce circulating mechanical power flow between the two power paths (LP, LP), particularly in the boost mode or upon recuperation of braking energy, the gear combination (, R) is varied, or the engine rpm is lowered, or only one electrical machine (E, E) is used as a generator. More-comfortable operation is additionally achieved in that upon electrical starting, the engine (VM) is started simultaneously.

Methods for operating a motor vehicle driven by an internal combustion engine and by two electrical machines

A transmission ( ), in particular for motor vehicles, has two planetary gears ( ), whose ring gears ( ) are connected by a crown gear ( ) to the crankshaft ( ) of an internal combustion engine. Each planetary gear ( ) is coupled to a respective gear shaft ( ), on which input gear wheels ( E- E, RE) for various gear ratios are disposed. The input gear wheels ( E- E, RE) mesh with output gear wheels ( A- A, RA) disposed on an output shaft ( ). It is provided that each planetary gear ( ) be coupled with an electric machine ( ), and the electric machines are for instance connected to the sun wheels ( ) of the planetary gear ( ). With the arrangement described, especially for use in hybrid vehicles, relatively high total efficiency and infinitely variable gear ratios can be achieved.

A two speed transmission formed as a pre-transmission for an auxiliary aggregate in motor vehicles having a drive shaft which forms an input shaft, a driven shaft which forms an output shaft, and a planetary transmission which couples the drive shaft with the driven shaft, the planetary transmission having a planetary carrier which is non rotatably arranged on the drive shaft and carries at least one inner planetary gear which rolls on a sun gear, the inner planetary gear being coupled with an outer planetary gear turnably supported around a rotary axis of the inner planetary gear, the outer planetary gear rolling on a hollow gear which is non rotatably arranged on the driven shaft, the hollow gear having an inner toothed rim and an outer toothed rim, the outer planetary gear rolling on the inner toothed rim or on the outer toothed rim of the hollow gear, depending on an input rotary speed of the drive shaft.
