An installation switching device has a housing and screw connecting clamp with an essentially frame-shaped clamping part having longitudinal faces, narrow faces and broad faces, a head-clamp screw received in a clamping part threaded aperture, and a current rail arranged fixed in the device extending through the frame-shaped clamping part interior, wherein a current rail broad face is oriented, as assembled, parallel to a clamping part broad face facing the head clamping screw, the screw supporting itself, screwed in, on the current rail, wherein consequently, the clamping part is displaceable in its longitudinal direction, parallel to the narrow face, relative to the current rail by further screwing in the head clamping screw so a connecting conductor can be fixedly clamped between the current rail face remote from the screw and the clamping part broad face remote from the screw, the housing having a screw receiving region guiding the screw head.

An installation switching device includes an insulating housing having a front face, and a switching handle disposed on the front face and configured to be operated by an operator and switched between a switched-on position and a switched-off position. The installation switching device also includes a slide fitted to the front face and moveable between a locked position and a released position. The slide is in the form of a frame and having at least one transverse web transverse to a movement direction of the slide and a holding projection configured to block any switching of the switching handle when the slide is in the locked position and to release the switching handle for switching when the slide is in the released position. The front face includes at least one structural element corresponding to the at least one transverse web. The installation switching device also includes a lead-sealing device configured to prevent movement of the slide from the locked position, wherein the at least one transverse web and the at least one structural element support the lead-sealing device.

The terminal connecting arrangement includes a terminal socket having an interior disposed between an insertion opening for receiving the terminal shoe and an access opening and a terminal screw having a screw head and a screw shank disposed in the interior of the terminal socket, the screw being actuatable in a longitudinal direction within the interior of the terminal socket between an open state and a clamped state. The arrangement further includes a connection plate having a screw hole with interior threads for threadably engaging the terminal screw when in the clamped state and a retaining device preventing the terminal screw from being removed from the terminal socket when in the open state.

Electrical service switching device

An installation switch having a housing and a connecting arrangement for a conductor having a terminal shoe. The connecting arrangement includes a socket having an interior, an insertion opening, and an access opening, and a screw having a screw head and a screw shank disposed in the interior of the socket. The screw is actuatable longitudinally between an open and a clamped state. The arrangement further includes a connection plate having a screw hole with threads for threadably engaging the screw when in the clamped state, and a retaining device preventing the screw from being removed when in the open state. The arrangement is configured so that the open state allows the shoe to be inserted into the insertion opening, the clamped state provides the screw being engaged with the shoe, and access to the screw is provided via the access opening of the socket to actuate the screw.

Modular service switching device

The invention relates to an installation switching device comprising a housing, with a front and rear face, a mounting side, front and rear narrow sides and wide sides, and with two screwless terminal connections with in each case at least one clamping spring for the connection of connecting conductors which are fixed in position in a terminal connection space of the housing. The terminal connection space is open towards the housing wide sides and towards the face. Each terminal connection is covered by an associated terminal cover part connected pivotably to the housing, which has a terminal face with a number of terminal openings corresponding to the number of connecting conductors to be connected, and guide means moulded onto each terminal opening for the connecting conductors, which also has two side areas which cover the terminal connection laterally in the direction of the wide sides. Spring actuating means are moulded onto the cover part and are constructed in such a manner that, when the cover part is swivelled against the clamping spring they load the latter so as to open it.

The disclosure relates to an electrical installation switching device, having a switching mechanism with a latching point which can be unlatched manually by means of a switching toggle or by means of an electromagnetic or thermal release, having a tripping lever which can be operated by the electromagnetic and thermal release and acts on the latching point, having a latching lever which forms one element of the latching point, and having a movable contact lever, which can pivot, is acted on by the electrical release in the event of a short-circuit and is moved permanently to the disconnected position by the switching mechanism in the event of a short-circuit or overcurrent. The latching lever (which is mounted in the enclosure such that it can rotate) together with the tripping lever forms the latching point. The tripping lever is mounted such that it can rotate on the same rotation axis as the switching toggle. A projection which holds a first limb of a U-bracket is integrally formed on the switching toggle, diametrically opposite the switching handle, and its other, second limb is guided such that it can move in an elongated hole in the elongated latching lever and is connected in an articulated manner to a connecting lug, whose other end is connected to the contact lever, which is mounted such that it can rotate.
