A closure () for closing an opening of a container () for storing and removing sterile or moisture-sensitive media has a closure cap (), which can be connected to the container in a fluid-tight manner, and a piercable, self-closing septum (), which closes at least one removal opening () in the closure cap () in a fluid-tight manner, wherein the closure () has a rotatably mounted protective cap () with a cutout (). The cutout () is arranged off-centre in the protective cap () and the closure cap () has off centre a closure region () which is not impinged by the at least one removal opening () and is larger than the cutout () in the protective cap (). The closure () has a latching mechanism, which is suitable for arranging the protective cap () in relation to the closure cap () in such a way that the cutout () in the protective cap () is aligned either in line with the or a removal opening () in the closure cap () or at a distance from the removal opening or openings (). The closure () has at least one tamper-proof means of protection.

Closure with membrane and rotatable protective cap

A reagent kit comprising: a reagent container assembly with at least one reagent container, wherein the reagent container has at least one container body and at least one closure which can be mounted or provided on the container body. The closure comprises a closure base member and a lid which is mounted movably on the base member for movement at least between a closed lid position and another lid position, and an in-transit securing means mountable in a locking position on the reagent container and which is movable relative to the reagent container from the locking position into a release position. The in-transit securing means, when in the locking position, secures the lid in the closed lid position. By moving the in-transit securing means from the locking position into the release position, the lid is moved from the closed lid position into the other lid position.

A reagent kit is provided comprising a plurality of containers with top-side openings, a common support structure or a plurality of support structures associated to the containers, and a plurality of caps. Each container and cap is mountable or provided on the common or the associated support structure, wherein each cap is formed essentially rectangular, having two shorter edges and two longer edges, and comprises: a cap body, a lid hinged to the cap body so to pivot around a pivot axis at least between closed and opened positions, the pivot axis being essentially parallel to the shorter edges. The containers and associated caps are arranged in a row along a connecting line such that the pivot axes are orthogonal to the connecting line. For at least one of the containers, an end portion of the cap body opposite to the pivot axis is not covered by the lid.

Reagent kit for analyzing apparatus

The invention relates to a packaging unit for two substances to be stored separately from each other and mixed together before use, particularly a liquid and a powdered substance. A contact lens container () includes a container () for receiving a cleaning and/or disinfecting liquid, as well as a cap (), which can be screwed onto the container () by a thread (). In the cap () a sealing washer () made of a water-tight and gas-tight material is provided, which is arranged on the inside of the cap () on the bottom () of the cap and extends to the side wall () of the cap (), so that when the cap () is screwed on to the container (), the sealing washer () is enclosed between the container edge () and the bottom () of the cap and the inside of the container has a water-tight seal. The cap () in the area in which the sealing washer () is enclosed between the container edge () and the bottom () of the cap is designed such that a cavity () is formed between the sealing washer () and the bottom () of the cap, so that, when there is excess pressure in the container (), the sealing washer () is deformed into this cavity () and gas can escape from the inside of the container through the thread () out of the container (). The sealing washer () is equipped with a sealing lip () at its border with the side wall () of the cap (), the lip being designed such that, when the sealing washer () is deformed into the cavity (), a water-tight seal is ensured with the side wall () of the cap ().

Dispensing device for dispensing small quantities of fluid comprising a compressible balloon with an end-to-end capillary inserted within the walls of the balloon in such a way that the one end of the capillary communicates with the interior of the balloon and the other end of the capillary communicates with the exterior space. The balloon has at least one opening through which the interior space of the balloon communicates with the exterior space. The at least one opening has a flow resistance that is designed so that a fluid contained in the capillary is expelled when the balloon is compressed. The present invention also comprises a system and method for the metered dispensing of fluids.
