A cutting tool having a main body (4) extending along a longitudinal central axis (9) and a cutting insert (1), which is held on the main body (4) in an axially and/or radially positionally-adjustable manner and can be tensioned by means of a clamping claw (3). The cutting insert (1) is held by a clamping holder (2), which is held in a positionally-adjustable manner on the main body (4), and which can be tensioned on the main body (4) by means of the clamping claw (3) pressing against the cutting insert (1).

Cutting tool

The invention relates to a hydraulic expanding chuck for gripping a tool, for example a drill or a milling tool, comprising: a clamping part having an expansion sleeve having a central receiving opening for receiving and clamping the tool; and a connection part, in particular having a HSK connection. According to the invention, the expansion sleeve has at least two pressure chambers, which are designed to run around the central receiving opening, which are arranged at an axial distance relative to one another, and which can bulge when the tool received in the central receiving opening is subjected to fluid pressure. The at least two pressure chambers are connected to one another by a fluid channel.

Hydraulic expanding chuck

A chuck for a tool comprises a device for supplying a cooling and/or lubricating medium to a medium channel in a tool held in the chuck, an adjusting screw, and securing means. The adjusting screw serves as a stop for the tool held in the chuck, is arranged in the chuck, is adjustable in relation to the chuck in the axial direction of the chuck, and interacts with a pipe element. The pipe element is held rotatably in the chuck and the securing means limit an axial displacement of the pipe element at least in the direction of the adjusting screw. The pipe element and the adjusting screw are connected in a rotationally fixed but axially displaceable manner with respect to each other.

Chuck for a tool

There is provided a metal-cutting tool comprising a tool holder, a replaceable cutting plate, and an adjusting element which is attached by means of screw-fastening means elements and with which the position of the cutting plate on the tool holder can be adjusted. The screw-fastening means comprises a threaded element which interacts with the adjusting element and can be fixed in place in the tool holder.

A clamping system for detachably connecting two parts, one part has a hollow shaft and the other part has a receiving portion for receiving the hollow shaft with a precise fit, comprising: a main body to be arranged concentrically in the receiving portion, extends into the hollow shaft when the two parts are joined to one another, and bears two clamping bodies, operable in a diametrically opposed manner between release and clamping positions, and comprising an ejector axially adjustable by a defined ejection stroke in a centric through-bore in the main body, the clamping bodies subject the one part to a pressing force in the clamping position, and in the release position subject the one part to an ejection force, the ejector formed from a body of revolution, which is detachably anchored directly in a centric through-bore in the main body with axial play corresponding to the ejection stroke.

Clamping system for detachably connecting two preferably rotationally symmetrical parts

The invention concerns a clamping element of a coupling device for releasably but axially and rotationally fixing tool components for dry machining (MMS technology) and for wet machining. The element provides a friction-type connection between the components to be coupled. A cooling tube is arranged at the center of the coupling device. The spindle is provided with an elongated hole run through which cooling tube passes. A variable contour between the base body and the clamping segment enables an increase in distribution of forces for the support of the clamping segments. The novel geometry of the clamping segments results in novel contours in the base body with smoother transitions, hence a better force distribution, thereby reducing material breakage and a more reliable and robust clamping. By virtue of their novel geometry, the clamping segments have an increased surface enabling larger clamping screws to be used.

Clamping element for tool holders

The invention relates to a clamping chuck for a tool comprising a device for supplying a cooling agent and/or lubricants to a feeding channel of the tool maintained by the clamping chuck. The clamping chuck comprises a sleeve for coupling a feed pipe for supplying a cooling agent and/or lubricants, the sleeve provided with a tubular element and an adjusting screw which is arranged in such a way that it is displaceable with respect to the clamping chuck in the direction of the longitudinal axis thereof.

Depth adjustment for a clamping chuck

A clamping and adjustment apparatus for a cutting tool is described in which a plate-shaped cutter insert is prestressable and fastenable by means of a tension screw with its bottom surface against a seat surface such that it is supported with lateral wall sections in a positionally fixed manner on a cutter support. In order to allow precise adjustment of the cutter insert when little space is available, the clamping and adjustment apparatus has an adjustment wedge which can be actuated by means of a pressure screw in a direction (V) that extends essentially parallel to the seat surface. The adjustment wedge is accommodated in the cutter support in a form-fitted and displaceable manner. The cutter insert is supported on the adjustment wedge and can be adjusted by means of it. Moreover, a tool which is equipped with this clamping and adjustment apparatus is described as well as a tool cartridge which is used for it.
