Socket for a combined electrical connection and data connection between a motor vehicle and a vehicle component in the external part of the motor vehicle, wherein the socket has a housing with a plug-in opening for connection to a plug of the vehicle component and a cover, a contact carrier with electrical contacts and a data connector mounted in the contact carrier and a connection compartment of the socket for connecting the electrical contacts and the data connector with an electrical grid and a data network of the motor vehicle. The data connector has at least one electrically conductive outer bushing for electrical shielding of the data transmission in the data connector, and a carrier body made from an insulating material and accommodated in the outer bushing the at least one data contact.

Socket for a combined electrical connection and data connection

A data cable plug connector for data transmission includes a plug body comprising a cable connection end, a plug connection end and a plug shield. The cable connection end has a first connection channel for a first insulated conductor, a second connection channel for a second insulated conductor, and a shield connection for a conductor shield. The plug connection end has a contact carrier with contact openings for receiving contacts which are connectable to the insulated conductors. The cable connection end has an impedance transmitter made of electrically conductive material disposed adjacent to the contact carrier, the connection channels being formed in the impedance transmitter, and at least one material that is electrically conductive at least in parts being formed between the connection channels channel. Openings of the connection channels facing the contact carrier open into the openings of the contact carrier.

Data cable plug connector for data transmission

A data connector adapter includes a plug body having first and second plug connection ends, an electrically conductive plug shield and a contact carrier. The first and second plug connection ends respectively have first and second plug contact connection patterns for connecting first and second data connectors. The contact carrier is arranged between the plug connection ends and carries two first contacts and two second contacts respectively forming the first and second plug contact connection patterns. One of the first contacts in each case is electrically conductively connected to one of the second contacts via a contact connection section. The first and second contacts are surrounded at least in sections respectively by electrically insulating first and second carrier bodies having first and second dielectric constants &#x3b5;, &#x3b5;. Outer circumferential surfaces of the carrier bodies bear against an inner wall surface of the plug shield at least in sections.

A flat terminal for a socket of an electrical plug-and-socket connection comprising: a terminal body formed by a metal strip; a connecting end extending from one of the axial ends of the terminal body; a contacting lug extending from the other of the axial ends of the terminal body, said contacting lug being bent back such that a gap remains between the terminal body and the contacting lug to form a resilient contact surface; and a protection against over-bending protruding into said gap to stop a movement of the contacting lug towards the terminal body in a defined distance from the terminal body.

A plug for an electrical plug-and-socket connection comprising a plug body having plug contacts embedded in the plug body. The contacts being connectable with wires leading to the electrical circuit of a vehicle. The plug including one or more plug openings in a front face of the plug body surrounding the plug contacts for inserting contacts of a socket into the one or more plug openings providing an electrical connection between the contacts of the socket and the plug contacts. A plug protrusion extending from the plug body and placed such that a pawl protruding form an inner surface of a socket cover engages behind the plug protrusion when the plug is inserted into a plug-in opening of the socket.

A strain relief element for a cable. The strain relief element has a clamping collar in form of an at least partially closing ring for clamping the cable sheathing arranged in a clamping opening of the ring. The clamping collar having first and second half-ring clamping elements with a partial clamping opening each and hinged together through a first hinge. The clamping opening being defined by the two half-ring clamping elements folded towards each other and fixed with a clamping force executed by a clamping element. The strain relief element has a fixing collar means in form of an at least partially closing ring for fixing a corrugated tube surrounding the cable arranged in a fixing opening of the ring, the fixing collar having first and second half-ring fixing elements with a partial fixing opening each and hinged together through a second hinge.
