A motor vehicle has a head-protecting side airbag disposed in a region of a lateral roof strut. The airbag is covered by a panel which can be pierced by the side airbag when the need arises. The panel merges laterally into a headliner which covers the vehicle roof on the inside facing the passenger compartment. It is essential for the invention that at least one fastening assembly is provided which is arranged at the transition of the panel to the headliner and fixes both the panel and the headliner to the roof strut.

Motor vehicle with a head-protection side airbag

A protective device for a loading space of a motor vehicle has at least one sheet-like structure that can be transferred alternatively into a vertical or into a horizontal protective position. The sheet-like structure has at least reduced light permeability in its horizontal protective position and increased light permeability in its vertical protective position. It is important that the sheet-like structure is configured as a spacer structure.

Protective device for a loading space

A motor vehicle has a body shell section, an interior trim part covering the body shell section and an attachment device for a separating or retaining element in particular a luggage grille. The attachment device has a mounting part secured to the body shell section with an attachment section and a holding device. The interior trim part has a hole, into which a cover is inserted, through which the holding section passes. In order to be able to reduce rattling noises, the cover is attached exclusively to the interior trim part and lies at a distance from the body shell section. An extension section is additionally provided between the holding section realized as a hook and the attachment section, in conjunction with which the hook is provided with a covering made of plastic executed as a push-on part, which together with the cover conceals the attachment device.

Motor vehicle with an attachment device for a separating or retaining element

A motor vehicle includes a body shell element, an interior-covering part for the body shell element, an energy-absorbing deformation element arranged between the body shell element and the interior covering part, and a deformable supporting element connecting the interior-covering part to the body shell element. The deformation element is constructed as a sheet metal part in the shape of an elongated hollow profile, and includes at least one fastening leg and at least one deformation leg. The fastening leg is connected with the interior-covering part. The deformation leg starts out from the fastening leg and faces the body shell element. The deformation characteristics of the deformable supporting element are designed in consideration of the deformation characteristics of the deformation element. The deformation leg is arranged at a distance from the body shell element.

Motor vehicle having an energy-absorbing deformation element

Device for fastening a ceiling covering made of leather or imitation leather in a roof cutout for a sliding roof which is arranged in a molded ceiling element and which can be inserted in a vehicle roof, and the ceiling covering is pulled around an upright edge of the roof cutout and can be glued to the molded ceiling element, so that, also in rounded areas of the roof cutout for a sliding roof, a ceiling covering can be held which follows the course of the edge of the cutout in a contacting manner, clamping pieces are provided in these rounded corner areas which hold the ceiling covering in a pretensioned fashion by means of prongs.

Device and method for fastening a ceiling covering on a molded ceiling element

An air flow control arrangement is constructed with an air feed into an interior of a motor vehicle. Vertical and horizontal air guiding vanes are swivelably arranged in a housing, and controllable by way of an adjusting device. The housing can be fastened in an opening of a column paneling. The housing has a vertically aligned air guiding duct that includes a first lower duct section with an adjusting flap which can be swiveled about a bearing axis into a horizontal closed position, a vertical open position and intermediate positions, and a second adjoining upper duct section with the integrated air guiding vanes. The adjusting flap can be operated by means of the operating element via a reversing bow which is connected with a crank of the flap and can be swiveled at the housing in a bearing. The housing is fastened by detent hooks which can be snapped onto edges of the column paneling. Furthermore, a retaining spring fastens the head side of the housing.

Air flow arrangement

A cover device for a gap behind a rear seat unit and a vertical partition of a motor vehicle extending in the transverse direction of the vehicle as well as a side paneling consists of plate-shaped elements arranged on each side of a cartridge for a blind. These plate-shaped elements comprise a finger-shaped tongue as well as a rectangular plate, which are constructed in one piece. The plate-shaped elements are deflectable with respect to the cartridge by way of swivelling axes.

Cover device

Detachable fastening of an inner lining, in particular a roof lining, at a receiving part of a motor vehicle, whereby an edge protection profile, which interacts with a deposited peripheral area of the inner lining, is slipped on a flange of the receiving part and locking hooks for fastening are provided locally on the inner lining. The deposited peripheral area of the inner lining is inserted into a receiving groove of the edge protection profile and the locking hooks of the inner lining interact with the edge protection profile.

Detachable fastening of an inner lining, in particular a roof lining, at a receiving part of a motor vehicle

A rear seat system for a motor vehicle, particularly a passenger car, has at least one backrest which can be folded from an upright operating position into an approximately horizontal depositing position and has an operating part which releases the backrest locking. Three-point seat belts are provided for the occupants of the rear seat system. In the deposited condition, the belt strap extends close to the vehicle side panel and in the process is situated in the swivel area of the backrest. When the backrest is folded up, the belt strap will not be clamped in between the backrest and the vehicle side panel because the operating part is also used as a guiding part for the adjoining belt strap of the deposited three-point seat belt.
