A component for a fuel injection system, in particular a high-pressure fuel injection system, includes a base body which is implemented in a tube-shaped manner at least sectionally. A tubular section of the base body is implemented having a longitudinal bending along a longitudinal axis of the tubular section which perpendicularly intersects the cross sections of the tubular section. At the longitudinal bending of the tubular section, the base body is implemented in such way that an ovality of the cross sections of the tubular section is reduced and/or smaller than 8% at the longitudinal bending.

Component for a fuel injection system and method for manufacturing a component of a fuel injection system

A holder is used for fastening a component, in particular a fuel distributor, to an internal combustion engine. The holder has at least one connection element, which includes a locating area. In the installed state, in which the connection element rests against an outer side of the component via its locating area, the locating area of the connection element extends across an angle greater than 180 degrees in relation to a longitudinal axis of the component. Furthermore, in the installed state, in which the connection element is resting via its locating area against the outer side of the component, the locating area has the form of a cylinder jacket. In addition, a system having a component and such a holder is provided.

Holder for fastening a component to an internal combustion engine

A holder serves for fastening a component, in particular a fuel distributor, onto an internal combustion engine. A holding element that has a component-side connecting segment is provided. The holding element is connectable at the component-side connecting segment to the component. The holding element furthermore has a fastening-means-side connecting segment at which the holding element is fastenable via a fastening means onto the internal combustion engine. A receiving part and a fastening sleeve are provided. The receiving part serves to connect the fastening sleeve to the fastening-means-side connecting segment of the holding element. The fastening sleeve has a through opening through which the fastening means is guidable. An assemblage having such a holder is also described. A connecting method is furthermore described.

Holder for fastening a fuel distributor to an internal combustion engine, and connecting method

A holder for fastening at least one component, particularly a fuel distributor, to an internal combustion engine. The holder includes an elastically deformable damping element, a holder body and a spring element, which are situated lying one behind the other with reference to an axis. In response to an assembly using the fastening arrangement, a prestressing of the spring element and a prestressing of the damping element are made possible. Furthermore, a fuel injection system is described having a fuel distributor and such a holder, which is used for fastening the fuel distributor on an internal combustion engine.

A retainer for fastening a component, especially a fuel distributor, via a holding element to an internal combustion engine includes: decoupling elements, a fastening body and a fastening element. The fastening body is fastened to the internal combustion engine with the aid of the fastening element. In addition, the holding element is fastened to the fastening body via the decoupling elements. Moreover, a preloading element is provided that is joined to the fastening body, preloading of the decoupling elements being set by way of a predefined position of the preloading element relative to the fastening body in which the preloading element is joined to the fastening body.

A connecting device for fuel injection systems is used for joining a fuel injector to a cup and to a fuel-conveying component. In this context, connecting elements are provided, which are insertable into the cup in such a manner, that they are situated at least approximately in one plane, which is oriented perpendicularly to a longitudinal axis of a cup. Connecting elements take the form of pin-shaped connecting elements. In addition, the connecting elements are formed in such a manner, that they are inserted into the cup, inside an outer cross-section of the cup. A securing element is also provided for securing the connecting elements. Furthermore, a fuel injection system having such a connecting device is provided.

A holder for attachment of a component, in particular a fuel distributor, to an internal combustion engine includes: at least one decoupling element, an attachment body, an attachment element, and a holding element. The attachment body is attached to the internal combustion engine by way of the attachment element. The holding element is attached to the attachment body via the decoupling element. The decoupling element is shaped in such a way that in at least one spatial direction, a nonlinear spring characteristic curve, which describes a correlation of a return force acting on the holding element with a deflection of the holding element relative to the attachment body, is predefined.

Holder for fastening a fuel distributor to an internal combustion engine

A tubular pressure accumulator which is used, in particular, as a fuel distribution rail for a mixture-compressing, spark-ignited internal combustion engine includes a tubularly bent metal wall. In this way, longitudinal sides, which are assigned to one another, of tubularly bent metal wall are connected to one another through a weld. Furthermore, the tubularly bent metal wall has at least one design feature implemented by the machining of the flat metal wall and the bending of metal wall, which take place prior to the welding.

A high pressure fuel pump encompasses at least one delivery chamber and one high pressure outlet. in addition, a pressure limiting valve with a valve that is actuated by a pressure differential is provided that can open from the high pressure outlet to the delivery chamber. On a high pressure side of a valve seat of the pressure limiting valve, it is advantageous that a throttle device is provided, whose free cross section is at most approximately equal to a desired maximum opening cross section of the pressure limiting valve.

In order to provide a seal arrangement for sealing between a first medium space filled with a first medium and a second medium space filled with a second medium which ensures reliable sealing between the medium spaces with very low leakage values even over a prolonged period of use, wherein said seal arrangement comprises a moveable component which is displaceable in the longitudinal direction thereof and/or rotatable about the longitudinal direction thereof and extends through the seal arrangement and wherein the seal arrangement comprises a sealing element which comprises a first sealing region that is sealing in relation to the first medium space and a second sealing region that is sealing in relation to the second medium space, wherein the first sealing region comprises a first dynamic sealing section abutting against the moveable component and the second sealing region comprises a second dynamic sealing section abutting against the moveable component and at least one of the two dynamic sealing sections has at least two sealing lips, it is proposed that each of the two sealing regions should comprise at least one respective spring element which biases the dynamic sealing section of the respective sealing region against the moveable component.

Sealing arrangement

An injection system for internal combustion engines is proposed, in which once the engine has been turned off, a pressure equalization is established between the intake side and the pressure side of the high-pressure fuel pump. This prevents uncombusted fuel from reaching the combustion chambers of the engine. The pressure prevailing on the pressure side and the intake side when the engine is off furthermore assures that vapor bubbles cannot form, and this makes starting the engine easier.
