A self-ventilated electrodynamic rotary machine includes a housing configured to at least partially axially enclose the rotary machine, and a fan connected in a rotationally fixed manner to a shaft on a ventilation side of the rotary machine and configured to generate a main cooling air flow when the shaft rotates about an axis. The fan includes a cover which is configured to direct the main cooling air flow onto the housing and is structured to improve cooling of the housing. An air guide element is detachably fixed to the cover to generate an additional cooling air flow. The air guide element, when viewed in a circumferential direction, has a segmented design and is configured as separate part for retrofitting to the cover depending on a thermal requirement of the rotary machine.

Self-ventilated electrodynamic rotary machine

In a method for producing a squirrel-cage rotor of an asynchronous machine, conductor bars of a first conductive material are inserted into slots of a magnetically conductive body such as to project out of at least one end side to form a projection. A short-circuiting disc of a second conductive material is positioned under pressure on the projection with a clearance fit of approximately 0.1 mm relative to a radially outwardly open recess of the short-circuiting disc. The short-circuiting disc is heated while the conductor bars virtually contact the short-circuiting disc. At least the projection of the conductor bars is coated with a third material at a layer thickness to form an alloy with the first and second materials after heating so that the third material is fully dispersed in the first and second materials as a result of the third material being diffused into the first and second materials.

Method for producing a squirrel-cage rotor of an asynchronous machine

Disclosed is a method for pulling a stator winding system of an electric machine into a stator lamination stack of the electric machine and to a winding tool, with the stator lamination stack having stator grooves which run parallel to a rotation axis of the electric machine and are distributed in a circle around the rotation axis and open thereto and which have on an end facing the rotation axis a gap region which is narrowed relative to the rest of the stator groove. Windings are arranged in the stator grooves, and winding overhangs, as seen in the direction of the rotation axis, protrude from the stator lamination stack at the two axial ends thereof, with the windings formed in the stator grooves as laid windings. The stator lamination stack has no guide structures on the two axial ends for guiding the individual turns of the windings.

A conductor bar of a cage rotor of an asynchronous machine has a longitudinal extension and includes first and second sections in the longitudinal extension. The first section has a hardness which is lower than a hardness of the second section and is realized through soft annealing, brief inductive heating or heating by a flame so as to enable a compression of the first section of the conductor bar by way of axial pressure after axially joining the conductor bar in a slot of a magnetically conductive body of the cage rotor, with the first section abutting an inner wall of the slot of magnetically conductive body of the cage rotor.

A lamination of a rotor of a rotary dynamo-electric machine includes a shaft bore with a radius, at least two pull-through grooves, and two intermediate space recesses. Each of the pull-through grooves has a lamination tongue facing radially inwards towards an axis such that the lamination tongue ends facing radially inwards lie on a radius which is smaller than the radius defined by the shaft bore.

A support element is at least partially connected to the front and/or rear ring with a positive fit and pressed thereon axially, with the support element being supported on a shaft and having a radial end which terminates at a radial end of the front and/or rear ring.

A component for an electric machine includes a flat region in which an electric line runs when the component is integrated into the electric machine and which includes a sharp-edged structure. A polymer layer adheres to the flat region without further aid such as to mask the sharp-edged structure and thereby protect from damage the electric line on the flat region. The polymer layer is made of cured plastic adhesive and jetted onto the flat region in the form of threads, such that the threads are spin-coated on top of one another in the form of overlapping loops and form a network structure which spans the sharp-edged structure.

Method for pulling a stator winding system into a stator lamination stack

A housing-free dynamoelectric rotary machine includes a stator having a material layer structure which includes a plurality of material layers arranged in a row along a rotation axis. The material layer structure includes a plurality of thickenings and a plurality of slots, with the slots arranged such that each of the slots is arranged between two respective ones of the thickenings. At least one of the slots is designed to receive a slot wedge, with a respective one of the thickenings being designed to fasten the slot wedge. An end element is arranged on an axial end of the stator and includes a connection box for supply with electrical energy. A connecting element connects the end element to the stator and is connected to the slot wedge.

Stator for a housing-free dynamoelectric rotary machine

An electrical machine includes a housing, a stator, and a rotor. The rotor is mounted relative to the stator for rotation about an axis of rotation. The stator radially outwardly surrounds the rotor. The housing is shrunk onto the stator from radially outside. On its radially outer periphery, the stator includes spring dements which are at least partially elastically deflected radially inwards during shrinking of the housing onto the stator such that the projections rest against the housing with a spring force.

A stator of an electric machine includes a laminated core having slots for receiving windings of a multiphase winding system. The windings have winding ends, which are encased with an insulator across a partial length. In order to encase the winding ends with the insulator, a strand of a thermoplastic material is extruded onto the winding ends via a nozzle. During extrusion, the nozzle is moved relative to the winding end along the longitudinal extent thereof and an oscillating movement of the nozzle transversely to the longitudinal extent of the winding end overlays the movement along the longitudinal extent. As a result the thermoplastic material lies on the winding end and around the respective winding end in the form of loops.

A squirrel cage rotor for an asynchronous machine includes a magnetically conductive main body which is mounted for rotation about an axis and includes electric conductors in substantially axially extending slots. The electric conductors are electrically contacted by short-circuit rings which are located on end faces of the magnetic main body and configured as a thermosiphon.
