A radial shaft seal has a support body and at least one sealing element that is a part produced separate from the support body and is connected to the support body by an adhesive connection. A static seal part that is a part separate from the sealing element and is arranged on a wall of the support body is provided. Alternatively, the sealing element comprises an integral static seal part and the static seal part is formed by a radially projecting edge of the holding part of the sealing element that projects radially past the wall of the support body.

Radial shaft seal

A sealing ring has a sealing element with at least one fastening part and at least one sealing part provided with a sealing edge. The sealing element is essentially of rotational symmetry. The sealing edge, at least over a portion of a circumference thereof, is positioned in a slanted position relative to a sealing ring axis at an angle different from a 90 degree angle, viewed in a projection onto an axial plane of the sealing ring. A support part is provided and the sealing edge is arranged on an inner side of the support part.

Sealing ring

A sealing ring has a sealing element with at least one fastening part and at least one sealing part provided with a sealing edge. The sealing element is essentially of rotational symmetry. The sealing edge, at least over a portion of a circumference thereof, is positioned in a slanted position relative to a seal axis at an angle different from a 90 degree angle, viewed in a projection onto an axial plane of the sealing ring.

A sealing ring has an annular disk with at least one fastening part secured on a first machine part and at least one sealing part that, when the sealing ring is mounted, sealingly rests against a second machine part. The annular disk is fastened without intermediate positioning of a supporting body on the first machine part. The sealing ring is a rotary shaft seal, a piston seal ring, or a rod seal. One of the first and second machine parts is stationary and the other one of first and second machine parts is moveable. A first bonding layer is attached to the annular disk, and the annular disk is connected with the first bonding layer to the first machine part. The first bonding layer is an adhesive layer.
