A hoisting machine, such as a cable block, includes a support frame having at least two face plates, which are detachably joined together and spaced apart by at least two longitudinal members. The support frame includes a simple structural design, in which the longitudinal members are detachably joined to the face plates such that the ends of the longitudinal members are pressed against a bearing surface of the face plates in the direction of their lengthwise axis, transversely to the longitudinal member.

The invention concerns a safety brake mechanism for the winding drum () of a hoisting machine that can be driven via a motor () with lifting gearbox (), which is substantially braked to a standstill without jerking when the lowering speed is excessive by a brake ring () that revolves concentrically with the winding drum () and is frictionally joined to the latter, when the brake ring () lying against a cylindrical brake surface () of the hoisting machine is locked. In order to allow for the grinding and adjusting of the necessary braking moment in the disconnected condition of the winding drum prior to the assembly of the complete lifting mechanism with low expenditure of material and cost, the brake surface () for the brake ring () may be provided on its outer circumference with a rigid coupling () that concentrically connects a lifting gearbox () and a winding drum (), to which the lifting gearbox () and winding drum () are removably connected.

Safety brake mechanism for a winding drum and method for grinding a safety brake

A crane trolley, especially a single-rail trolley with a short overall height, with a traveling mechanism frame () having a hoisting mechanism (), which can travel by running wheels () on a rail, especially a lower flange () of an essentially horizontal beam (), wherein at least one running wheel () can be driven, and a friction roller () interacting with the driven running wheel () is arranged on the underside () of the rail. In order to create a crane trolley that guarantees a reliable reduction in the slippage of the driven running wheel () with a simple design, a pair of friction rollers () is provided, which may be positioned against the underside () of the rail by adjusting the spacing from each other via a common pressing mechanism.

The invention concerns a suspension for load hooks, especially for lower blocks of cable controls, with a shaft mounted in a recess of a carrier body and able to turn about a vertical axis, which is mounted in a continuous bore of a support element and thrusts against the carrier body by means of at least one axial bearing. In order to create a short and simple construction of a suspension for a load hook, the invention proposes that the shaft of the load hook is mounted in the carrier body by a bearing arrangement consisting of the support element, at least one axial bearing, and the retaining ring surrounding the shaft, and the bearing arrangement is secured by a fastening element, especially a snap-ring, in the carrier body.

The invention concerns a detachable fastening of a cable () on a cable drum (), especially a wire cable, with an opening () arranged in the cable drum (), with an enlarged cable end () on the cable () and a connection piece (), by which the cable () with its end thickening () is detachably secured to the cable drum () in the region of the continuous opening (). The connection piece () may be detachably secured in the continuous opening () and the enlarged cable end () be detachably secured to the connection piece ().

The invention concerns a hoisting device with a drive unit () including a motor and a transmission, a drive shaft () which can be driven by the drive unit (), with drive flange () which can be secured to it, as well as a cable drum () which can be connected to the drive flange (), wherein the torque of the drive shaft () can be transmitted by a coupling to the cable drum (), wherein the coupling consists of at least one coupling element () arranged essentially by form fitting between the drive flange () and the cable drum (), being constructed from individual coupling segments (), which have drive cams () pointing radially inward and outward on both sides, which engage with corresponding recesses () of the two adjoining structural parts () that can be coupled together for the torque transmission. In order to create a hoisting device whose coupling reliably equalizes the alignment errors with a simple and space-saving construction, the invention proposes that the coupling segments () be arranged on the drive cams () and extend essentially between the drive flange () and the cable drum ().

Hoisting device

The invention concerns a cable block, especially a lower block for cable controls, with at least one cable roller enclosed by a shrouding cover with entry and exit openings for a carrying cable, wherein a cover element is inserted in the entry and exit opening, having an opening for the carrying cable. The opening in the cover element is smaller than the entry and exit opening in the shrouding cover. In order to create a cable block, especially for a cable actuator, with improved protection against accidents, it is proposed that the entry and exit opening be slot-like and the cover element can be shifted in the entry and exit opening.

A winch, includes a housing which receives therein a rotatable rope drum moveable in a longitudinal direction between two end positions through operation of a gas-actuated piston. A spindle, mounted in fixed rotative engagement to the rope drum and extending in coaxial relationship thereto, carries a nut which is securely fixed to the housing for guiding the spindle in the longitudinal direction. Arranged coaxially between the piston and the rope drum is a pivot bearing which includes two bearing rings arranged side-by-side in a direction of a rotation axis of the pivot bearing, whereby, during operation, an end face of the rope drum rests upon one of the bearing rings, and the piston rests on the other one of the bearing rings. In order to prevent an undesired tilting of the piston in the housing, when the piston is not acted upon by gas pressure, a catch is provided to link the piston and the rope drum so as to restrict an axial displacement of the piston and the rope drum relative to one another to a predetermined value.

Winch

A cable drive for a hoisting mechanism, including a carrying element having a recess, at least one of a top block and a cable end attachment, each of which has a horizontal swivel axle having two ends, and bearing elements swivelably mounted at both ends of the axle so that each of the bearing elements is rotatable by 180 degrees relative to its vertical central plane. The bearing elements are arranged in the recess of the carrying element, each bearing element having a laterally offset bearing bore in which the swivel axle is mounted so that movement of the bearing element causes a lateral parallel movement of the swivel axle.

Cable drive of a hoisting mechanism

A lower block, in particular for lifting tackle, having laterally arranged, rotatably mounted pulleys and a load hook which is mounted rotatably about a vertical axis and a horizontal axis and is connected via a connecting element to the pulleys. In order to reduce the overall height and the work involved in assembly of the lower block without correspondingly reducing its load bearing capacity, journals are formed integral with the connecting element and are arranged at opposite lateral ends thereof for supporting the pulleys. The load hook is arranged and axially secured in a recess defined in and open toward the bottom of the connecting element.

Lower block apparatus

A support frame assembly for a hoisting device including a cable drum pulling means mounted between two side-end members and at least two longitudinal girders arranged between the end members so that the ends of the longitudinal girders are substantially fixed in position relative to the end members. In order to reduce the expense of assembling and weight of the cable winch, the end members are clamped together in a longitudinal direction with at least one clamping means so that the ends of the longitudinal girders are, as a result, substantially fixed in position relative to the side-end members, at least in the longitudinal direction.
