An arrangement includes a drawer housing and a drawer intended for an image-recording device of an x-ray-image device to be placed in the drawer. The arrangement includes a pull-out device, using which the drawer is moveable across a slanting plane while being withdrawn from or inserted into the drawer housing. A floor of the drawer remains parallel to a floor of the drawer housing.

The present embodiments relate to a lifting unit for a patient support. The lifting unit includes a base plate, a motor drive, a lifting drive driven by the motor drive and received in the base plate. The lifting drive is adapted to carry out a lifting movement and a movement in the opposite direction. A triggering element is activated when the pressure exerted by the lifting drive on the base plate falls below a defined minimum value. The movement of the lifting drive is stopped in response to the activation of the triggering element. If the patient support collides with an obstacle during lifting, the pressure exerted by the lifting drive on the base plate is reduced. The reduced pressure is detected by the triggering element and the movement of the patient support is stopped.

Protection for a lifting unit

An X-ray detector drawer, into which an X-ray detector is insertable in two alternate orientations, has guide elements by which an inserted X-ray detector is fixedly positioned and oriented. The X-ray detector drawer has a securing device, by which an asymmetrical insertion of an X-ray detector with respect to either one of the two alternate orientations is hindered. The securing device includes a blocking element, whose position is altered as a function of the removal of the X-ray detector drawer. A receptacle for the X-ray detector drawer is configured to facilitate a removal the X-ray detector drawer from either of two opposite directions.
