An electrical appliance includes a housing having a holding chamber and an insert slot, an insulation displacement connector (IDC), and an electrical component such as a battery inserted into the holding chamber. The component has an electric connector extending through the holding chamber into the insert slot. Upon insertion of the IDC into the insert slot, the IDC contacts the electric connector of the component and contacts a printed circuit board (PCB) mounted to the housing whereby the electrical component and the PCB are electrically connected via the electric connector of the component and the IDC. The holding chamber completely surrounds, at least in sections, the component within the holding chamber. The holding chamber includes a radially-pivotable latching clip which axially fixes in place the component within the holding chamber.

Electrical appliance

An arrangement for labeling a subassembly having first and complimentary parts in which the subassembly labeling includes a label portion of each part. The first part has a first label portion and a window. The complimentary part is connectable with the first part in different spatial orientations to form different subassemblies. The complimentary part has second and third label portions in respective positions such that when the complementary and first parts are connected together in the first spatial orientation to form a first subassembly the second label portion is located behind the window and with the first label portion forms a label for the first subassembly, and such that when the complementary and first parts are connected together in the second spatial orientation to form a second subassembly the third label portion is located behind the window and with the first label portion forms a label for the second subassembly.

Arrangement for labeling a subassembly made of at least two parts

A sensor device for continuous measurement of the position of a damping piston in a damping cylinder of a vibration damper, used, in particular, in the spring strut of a motor vehicle, is proposed. The corresponding electronic control and evaluation circuit of such a sensor device is to be located in the immediate vicinity of the sensor element and in particular, the problems related to this measure, involving the sealing of the electronic circuit, with respect to the harsh conditions of the corresponding building space, are solved. This is possible in that the sensor element and the electronic control and evaluation circuit are placed within a damping piston, consisting of a basic body and a cover, and are hermetically enclosed, with respect to the outside, by a surrounding seal, lying between the basic body and the cover of the damping piston.

Sensor device

A steering angle sensor for determining the absolute angle position of a steering wheel of a motor vehicle includes a first sensor unit (,). The first sensor unit (,) detects the steering angle position within an angle segment of the entire rotational range of the steering wheel. The first sensor unit (,) has a rotor (,) coupled to the rotational movement of the steering wheel. The steering angle sensor further includes a second sensor unit (,) for detecting the steering angle position within an angle segment of the entire rotational range of the steering wheel. The second sensor unit (,) includes a rotor (,) coupled in a geared manner to the rotational movement of rotor (,) such that the rotors (,) have slightly different rotational speeds while the steering wheel is moving. The steering angle position is determined from a measurement value detected by the first sensor unit (,) and a measurement value detected by the second sensor unit (,). Each pair of values serves to define an absolute steering angle position over the entire rotational range of the steering wheel.
