A method of manufacturing a shaving razor. A circuit board is positioned within a handle. A first end of a flexible electrical bridge is connected to the circuit board. A second end of the flexible electrical bridge is connected to an energy emitting device. A loop is formed in the flexible electrical bridge by bending the flexible electrical bridge.

Shaving razor system

A personal consumer product having an energy emitting element in selective electrical communication with a power source is provided. Thermal control circuitry is used to isolate the energy emitting element from the power source when a temperature of the energy emitting element exceeds a threshold. The thermal control circuitry includes a primary thermal control circuit and a redundant thermal control circuit. Methods for controlling the temperature of an energy emitting element of a personal consumer product are also provided.

A personal care product system is provided. The personal care product system has a stand that has a first stand permanent docking magnet. A stand inductive charging coil is also positioned within the stand. A handle that has a first handle permanent docking magnet is removably mounted to the stand. The second predetermined temperature is at least two degrees Celsius different from the first pre-determined temperature.

Personal consumer product with thermal control circuitry and methods thereof

A heating element for a shaving razor having an insulating member with a base and at least one electrical terminal. A flexible printed circuit board having a base with at least one electrical terminal electrically and mechanically coupled to the corresponding electrical terminal of the insulating member. A non electrically conductive underfiller encapsulant is positioned between the base of the insulating member and the base of the flexible printed circuit board to provide a water tight seal around the electrical terminals.

A first circuit board having a rigid end is positioned within the chamber and a flexible portion positioned outside the chamber. A second circuit board is positioned within the chamber of the housing. The second circuit board has an electrical connector dimensioned to receive the rigid end. An adapter is secured to the first circuit board between the rigid end and the flexible portion. The adapter has a corresponding tapered guide surface that engages the tapered guide surface of the housing to align the rigid end with the electrical connector.

A shaving razor cartridge with a housing having a guard, a cap, and one or more blades located between the guard and the cap. The guard is positioned in front of the one or more blades and the cap is positioned behind the one or more blades. The heat delivering element includes a skin contacting surface and an opposing bottom surface defined by a perimeter wall. An insulating member is positioned within the perimeter wall. A method of controlling transfer of heat to skin during a shaving stroke. A shaving razor system with a heating element is provided. An insulating member for delivering heat to the heating element is provided. A temperature of a first area of the heating element is measured with a first thermal sensor. A temperature of a second area of the heating element is measured with a second thermal sensor. Power to the insulating member is decreased when an average temperature sensed by the thermal sensors is greater than or equal to a first predetermined temperature. Power to the insulating member is decreased when an individual temperature sensed by either of the thermal sensors is greater than or equal to a second predetermined temperature.

A method of assembling an electronic subassembly for a personal care product by providing an adapter having a body with a tapered guide surface. A first circuit board is positioned within the adapter. A flexible portion of the first circuit board extends from one end of the adapter and a rigid end of the first circuit board extends from the other end of the adapter. A housing is provided with a first opening and a second opening and a chamber (between the first and second openings. A second circuit board having an electrical connector into the chamber thru the first opening. The tapered surface of the adapter engages a corresponding tapered guide surface of the housing. The rigid end of the first circuit board is connected to the electrical connector.
