A suction roll assembly for sealing at least one negative or positive pressure zone which adjoins a surface of the roll which is perforated and moves in a movement direction in a machine for making paper, tissue or cardboard, has at least one sealing element which lies opposite the moving surface and is arranged in a receptacle which can be moved to change the format of the negative or positive pressure zone. In order to simplify the adjustability of the receptacle in order to position the sealing element, there is a signal transmitter which is connected directly or indirectly to the sealing element and the signal of which can be received on that side of the moving surface which faces away from the sealing element.

Suction roll assembly

A seal assembly for sealing at least one negative or positive pressure zone which adjoins a surface which is perforated and moves in a movement direction in a machine for making paper, tissue or cardboard, has at least one sealing element which lies opposite the moving surface and is arranged in a receptacle which can be moved to change the format of the negative or positive pressure zone. Seal assembly

This invention relates to a machine for the production of a paper web, paperboard web or tissue web, having a roller with a circumferential surface and having an endless belt, in particular a transfer belt, which is wrapped around the circumferential surface of the roller in sections and has a bottom side which in the wrap zone can be brought into contact with the circumferential surface, as the result of which the endless belt and/or the roller provide a storage capacity suitable for accommodating at least in part the fluid which gets into the wrap zone between the bottom side and the circumferential surface.

Transfer belt

An apparatus for treating a fibrous web, in particular a paper, board or tissue web including a press section and a drying section. The press section includes a central roll around which an at least substantially impermeable belt wraps, the fibrous web being removed from this impermeable belt and fed to the drying section. In this case, as viewed in the web running direction, the first drying group of the drying section includes at most three drying cylinders. In the exit region of the first drying cylinder of the first drying group, in which the fibrous web runs off the drying cylinder together with a permeable circulating belt or is removed from the drying cylinder by such a permeable circulating belt, a removal zone to which vacuum is applied is provided on the side of the permeable circulating belt that faces away from the fibrous web.

The different peak groups differentiate in that their peaks have different width ranges. Elements for storage, display and/or further processing of the determined standard deviations are also included.
