In an air-conditioning system for a motor vehicle having an internal combustion engine with an engine cooling circuit with a heat exchanger for heating and a heat pump with a refrigerant circuit including a heat exchanger for cooling the interior compartment of the motor vehicle, the refrigerant circuit includes also heat exchanges for heating or for cooling the coolant in the engine cooling circuit.

Air-conditioning system for a motor vehicle

The invention relates to an air-conditioning installation, in particular for motor vehicles, having a compression refrigeration circuit of a refrigerant for A/C operation with a high-pressure region, a suction region and a connected stationary air-conditioning circuit, in particular for stationary air-conditioning operation when the compression refrigeration circuit is switched off, having a compressor, an expansion valve, an evaporator as cooler for releasing refrigeration to the environment, and a thermal accumulator comprising a heat storage medium. The thermal accumulator serves as a refrigeration accumulator and as a condenser during stationary air-conditioning operation. The refrigerant which is present serves as heat transfer medium for transferring the refrigeration from the thermal accumulator to the evaporator in the stationary air-conditioning circuit. The evaporator and the thermal accumulator are connected in series in terms of the flow of refrigerant.

Air-conditioning installation, especially for motor vehicles

In an air-conditioning system for a motor vehicle having an integrated heat pump for cooling and heating, in which refrigerant is circulated and which allows heat exchange with the incoming air for the interior compartment of the motor vehicle, the heat transfer is effected either directly, by means of a refrigerant/air heat exchanger through which the air for the interior compartment is conducted, or by means of a secondary refrigerant circuit, which includes two expansion devices and three heat exchangers provided in the refrigerant circuit of the system.

An operating element in a motor vehicle having a hollow gripping section which can be gripped by an occupant, is arranged above the leg space of the motor vehicle and is provided in a ventilatable manner with air outlet openings to which air is guided through an air guiding duct which flows through air outlet openings into the occupant compartment. The air guiding duct starts in the leg space of the occupant compartment, and, from the gripping section heated by the effect of the sun, warmer air can flow off through the air outlet openings into the occupant compartment. By way of the air guiding duct, cooler air from the leg space is taken into the gripping suction.
