A self-propelled harvesting machine includes a chassis supported on driven front ground wheels and steerable rear ground wheels. A crop harvesting attachment is supported on steerable driven wheels and is mounted to the front of the harvesting machine for pivoting about an upright axis. The harvesting attachment delivers harvested crop to an intermediate conveyor which feeds the crop to an input conveyor of the harvesting machine. The harvesting attachment includes a power-operated steering actuator and is steered by a steering control device of the harvesting machine.

Electric connection system

The present invention relates to control system for a vehicle. The control system includes a manually operable control lever, such as a joystick, an actuator, a sensor and a control unit. The control lever sets a state variable of the vehicle. The actuator applies a force to the control lever. The sensor senses a vehicle parameter and transmits a parameter signal to the control unit. The control unit determines a current operating state of the vehicle. The control unit, depending on the present operating state of the vehicle, controls the actuator and causes it to apply a changed, predetermined force to the control lever, in order to make the operator aware of an unsafe operating state.

Vehicle control system

The present invention is directed to a device for steering a second agricultural machine which can be steered over a field relative to a first agricultural machine. The device includes a distance meter mounted on one of the machines and operable for recording measured values with regard to direction and distance of objects adjacent to the distance meter over a horizontal region. The device also includes an evaluating means which is connected to the distance meter and is designed to output a steering signal for causing guidance of the second machine relative to the first machine on the basis of the measured values of the distance meter.

The transformer () is provided on the attachment (). By means of the transformer () the transmitted alternating voltage can be converted in order to be made available to the electrical load.

Electric system for providing electrical power for a vehicle and an implement

An agricultural field sprayer () includes an electrically driven pump () locatable directly under sprayer fluid tank for conveying the fluid from the tank to a supply line. A return line () connects the pump () to the tank (), and a sprayer line () connecting the pump () to an application assembly (). The return line () and the sprayer line () include electrically operated control valves (), and an electronic control system () operates the motor () and the control valves () as a function of different variables including field sprayer speed and sprayer fluid characteristics. The invention relates to a vehicle active suspension system. There is a need for an active suspension system which can alert an operator to certain conditions. The suspension system includes an actuator for moving a second vehicle part relative to a first vehicle part. The suspension system also includes sensors and a control unit. A vehicle operator is located in or on the second part. The sensors sense vehicle parameters and transmit parameter signals to the control unit. In response to the parameter sensors, the control unit causes the actuator to move the second part in such a manner that the movement alerts the operator to the existence of a condition, such as a critical or non-optimal operating state of the utility vehicle or of an implement coupled to the vehicle.
