A shower head for a hand-held shower attachment, an overhead shower attachment or a side shower attachment contains, in its shower-head housing, a vortex chamber which is of funnel shape with the side wall curved. The funnel begins, at the location of the largest diameter, in a radial plane and then decreases in diameter along a curved contour to an exit, where the walls of the funnel run in the axial direction. At the location of the largest diameter of the vortex chamber, upstream of this tapering region, the water is let in tangentially in the circumferential direction and in the axial direction. The vortex which is generated by virtue of the water being let in tangentially accelerates its speed of rotation in the direction of the spray disc. Arranged at the end of the tapering region is a jet-outlet chamber which is very flat, but is of large diameter in relation to the vortex chamber. The vortex travels into this jet-outlet chamber, and therefore, even in the outer region, water jets exit with a massage action out of the jet-outlet openings which are present there.

The invention relates to a wall rod () to be applied in front of a vertical wall by means of wall supports (), said wall rod comprising an extension on the upper end thereof, that extends in an arched manner away from the wall. The handle of a shower attachment can be inserted into the free end of said arched pipe extension, and the tube is guided downwards on the rear side of the wall rod ().

System of sanitary fittings

A sanitary fitting contains in a common basebody thereof a flow control valve and a thermostatic valve. The flow control valve contains a valve for the cold water and a valve for the hot water. These valves are arranged upstream of the thermostatic valve in the direction of flow. Both valves are actuated by a common control valve. In addition, the flow control valve may be used for selecting several outlets.

The holding device for a shower post is provided with a holding member, which can be fixed by a fixing element to a wall and which can be coupled to the shower post. At least the outer wall surface of the holding member is made from a transparent to clear material and is made matt to reflecting on the inside by an unglazed design. In conjunction with the transparent construction of the outer wall surface, this ensures that it is not possible to see into the interior of the holding member, the latter assuming the color of the wall to which the holding member is fixed.

A spray device having an attachment member for connecting the device to a stationary water supply and a spray head for discharging the water. The spray device includes at least two wedge-shaped connecting members, each having at least one wedge surface, the wedge-shaped connecting members being rotatably connected to one another along a plane, to the wedge surfaces of adjacent connecting members. One of the wedge-shaped members is rotatably connected to the attachment member. Another wedge-shaped member has the spray head mounted thereon. The attachment member and the wedge-shaped members provide communicating water passages between the stationary water supply and the spray head, whereby the spray head may be tiltably adjusted toward and away from the attachment.
