In a parking lock for an automatic transmission, an electrical parking lock actuator has an electric motor, a spur gear stage driveable by the electric motor, and a worm gear stage driveable by the spur gear stage. A worm shaft of the worm gear stage is connected rotationally conjointly to an output gear of the spur gear stage, and a worm gear of the worm gear stage is connected rotationally conjointly to a transmission-side parking lock shaft. The worm shaft is fixed in an axially displaceable manner in the output gear. A stop limits the pivoting movement of the worm gear when a parking lock position of the parking lock shaft is reached. A spring braces the worm shaft in an axial direction of the worm shaft against a holding mechanism which is situated in a stop position, in which the holding mechanism is fixed by an electrically energized electromagnet.

Parking lock for an automatic transmission and method for operating the parking lock

A shift drum arrangement includes a shift drum with at least one first shift gate and/or a shift drum path for actuating at least one shift element of a transmission, in particular of a motor vehicle. A blocking device has a blocking gate and a blocking pin which engages in the blocking gate. The blocking gate has a labyrinth contour, and therefore the blocking pin strikes against a stop contour in one direction of rotation of the shift drum and blocks the further rotation of the shift drum. The block is released after the shift drum is partially rotated back in the reverse direction of rotation.

Shift drum arrangement

A starter arrangement for starting a motor vehicle engine, having a starter ring for connecting to a drive shaft, a starter unit for introducing a starter torque into the starter ring via a starter pinion acting on the starter ring, and a clutch connected to the starter ring for coupling the drive shaft to at least one transmission input shaft of a transmission. The clutch is spaced apart in the axial direction from the starter ring by an axial distance s, a forming reserved installation space for positioning an electric machine for a hybrid drive. The starter unit is positioned at least partially, preferably in large part, within the reserved installation space. A smaller installation space requirement for positioning a drive train in a motor vehicle body is possible by the sharing of the reserved installation space provided for the electric machine.

Starter arrangement

A wind deflector for a convertible vehicle is connected to a vehicle seat in the region of a headrest. The wind deflector is attached removably to the vehicle seat by connecting elements. A rear wall of the wind deflector extends around the headrest of the vehicle seat and is adjoined by, in each case, lateral air guiding elements with upright protective faces arranged running in the direction of travel and form between them, in a region in front of the headrest, a space that reduces a draft of air. In a further embodiment, the wind deflector can also be provided with a roof-shaped air guiding element.

Wind deflector

In order to be able to use a four-wheel drive of a motor vehicle for different vehicle types without significant changes, it is combined into a compact drive unit. For that purpose, a four-wheel-locking mechanism and a free-wheel device with by-pass clutch are arranged adjacent one another and coaxially to one another inside of a housing surrounding the same which is adapted to be flangedly connected to an axle housing of the motor vehicle.

Arrangement for the drive of a motor vehicle

A centrifugal brake is disclosed which comprises centrifugal shoes which cooperate with supplemental weights. Each supplemental weight has a ring-type basic shape and, by means of a ring part, extends along the centrifugal shoe to be affected. In addition, the supplemental weight interacts with the centrifugal shoe by way of a transmission element and a support part.

Centrifugal brake

A planetary transmission having a centrifugal brake is connected into a vehicle drive line and, when there is a rotational speed difference between an input shaft and an output shaft, transmits torque to the output shaft. Due to a special mounting of the input shaft and the output shaft of the planetary transmission, the occurring forces and torques are transmitted effectively, in which the case the parts of the planetary transmission can be manufactured in a cost-effective way and are easy to assemble.

Drive line for four wheel drive vehicles

An all-wheel limited slip differential system in the power train of the front axle and the rear axle of a motor vehicle has an intermediate planetary transmission in the direct through drive and a braking device that is engageable at its planetary carrier. A braking member is connected with the planetary carrier and the counterbraking member interacting with it is connected with the output shaft to the rear axle in a torsionally fixed manner. In order to keep the required braking moment and the braking device small, the ratio of the gear to the braking device is significantly higher than the ratio for the direct through drive.
