The invention relates to a guide apparatus for turbomachines, in particular for Francis or Kaplan turbines or pumps or pump turbines having a plurality of guide blades which can be actuated via in each case one link on a common adjusting member. Here, every guide blade or every second guide blade can be equipped with a bending element. A bending-failure link can have a screw connection and a bending body element. The screw connection is prestressed and is configured with a defined fracture cross section. The triggering force on the bending-failure link and the holding force after a fracture of the bending element can therefore be selected independently of one another. The guide blades are protected against damage by foreign bodies in the guide apparatus.

Guide apparatus for turbomachines

An apparatus for thickening liquids or thin sludges by water extraction, having a bottom, a tub having an underside, stands supporting the tub on the bottom, a ripening time chamber for receiving the liquids or thin sludges, first devices for admixing a polyelectrolyte for flocculation in the ripening time chamber, a conveyor belt for further dewatering the liquids or thin sludges, and second devices for delivering liquid extracted from the conveyor belt and thick sludge discharges. At least the conveyor belt, the ripening time chamber and the second devices are accommodated in the tub, which thus acts as a frame and a lateral boundary for the conveyor belt, the ripening time chamber and the second devices. All connections required for operation are disposed on the underside of the tub, and the underside of the tub is spaced above the bottom by the stands.

Device for thickening liquids or sludges

The invention relates to a device for use in apparatus for winding continuously-fed material on a winding mandrel for exchanging winding mandrels without interrupting the supply of tape or sheet material to be wound. Two endless cooperating conveyors are provided to which the ends of the winding mandrels are coupled to permit the horizontal transport of an empty winding mandrel received from a store to a winding station and to a removal station after receiving a full roll. The conveyors have sets of parallel, closely spaced bars, the axes of which are arranged perpendicularly with respect to the direction of movement of the conveyors and the ends of the winding mandrels are allowed to move vertically along the gaps between the bars as the diameter of the roll of material changes on the winding mandrel.

Device for exchanging a winding mandrel

A stuffing attachment for a continuously operating crinkling unit for continuous material, has a stuffing ring which can be moved forwards and backwards in a straight line with an aperture through which a strip of the continuous material passes. The stuffing ring is pushed through a clamping device into the starting zone of a compression tube of the crinkling unit and thereafter withdrawn. As the stuffing ring is withdrawn, the clamping device closes, so that it grips the strip, holds it fast, and pulls it through the aperture of the stuffing ring as the latter travels further back.
