An electrical plug-in connector for electrically connecting two regions separated by a wall. The wall has an assembly hole with a reinforcement bead on a first wall side around the hole. The connector includes a connector part positioned on a second wall side. A guide bushing is positioned on the first wall side. An extended portion of the bushing penetrates the hole in the wall. The extended portion has a support flange and a lock stop. The support flange is supported on the bead on the first wall side. The lock stop extends through the hole to the second wall side and is connected to the connector part. A locking element is connected to the connector part and is operable to engage the lock stop and exert a fastening pressure directed away from the wall towards the connector part such that the extended portion braces the bushing against the hole.

Electrical plug-in connector for providing an electrical connection between two regions separated by a partition wall

An electrical connector consisting principally of a housing of synthetic material with a plurality of receiving chambers provided therein for receiving an associated electrical connector contact element. In at least one outer housing wall of the housing is located one orifice per receiving chamber, with a locking arm disposed therein, which is integrally formed as a single piece on this outer wall of the housing. In order for it to be possible with a single operating step to release both the primary and the secondary locking and therefore to remove the electrical connector contact elements quickly and easily from their receiving chambers, a return slope is integrally formed on the free end region of each of the locking arms. In the housing at least one further access point is provided per receiving chamber and leads from the mouth region of the housing. This access point extends substantially parallel to the longitudinal direction of the receiving chamber so that a tool inserted into the housing by way of the other access point displaces the locking arm from its locking position into its release position.

Electrical connector part

An electrical connector system which has several independent housing sections. Locking elements are formed onto a first housing section and extend through openings into the retaining chambers of an adjacent housing section. In order to create an electrical connector system which, starting from one housing section, is capable of being extended in various different ways through the connection of further housing sections, one of the independent housing sections is formed as a central housing. At least two other housing sections which are directly allocated to it are formed as satellite housings. The locking elements formed onto the central housing engage on the one hand in the retaining chambers of the first satellite housing and on the other hand in the retaining chambers of the second satellite housing.

Modular electrical connector system

A motor vehicle steering column switch has a direction indicator blinker light switch which includes two engagement positions and two change of lane tipping positions. The switch also is automatically readjustable such as by a head lamp low beam flasher switch. The switch includes an integral switching lever having a tubular switching arm through which electrical leads are guided. The switching lever includes a catch extension and an operating extension molded from a thermoplastic material. A removable slide is provided to facilitate assembly of the electrical leads within the switching lever.
