The invention relates to a data transmission device for transmitting data between an Ethernet connection () suitable for energy transmission and a lighting mains current-free two-wire connection (). According to the invention, a means for energy transmission is disposed between the Ethernet connection () and the lighting mains current-free two-wire connection ().

Data transmission device

The invention relates to a surveillance system having an image recording means for recording optically distorted images and having a transmission means for transmission of image information from the image recording means to a reproduction means which reproduces, in an undistorted form, image details of the images which have been recorded with optical distortion. In this connection, it is provided that the transmission means is designed for detail transmission of distorted images and for joint transmission of additional information, which allows image detail distortion to be corrected, in order to allow distortion correction in the reproduction means.

Surveillance system

A surveillance system with cameras, monitors and a connection medium. Provided in this connection are a response code memory for the storage of response codes by which image data can be retrieved by cameras and response code generation media which are allocated to the monitors and generate response codes which indicate which cameras should retrieve image data, whereby the connection medium is designed for the purpose of through-connecting image data to the monitors in response to the response codes generated by the response code generation media allocated to the monitors.

The invention concerns a monitoring device with a multi-camera device and an object tracking device for the high resolution observation of moving objects. Hereby it is provided that the object tracking device comprises an image integration device for the generation of a total image from the individual images of the multi-camera device and a cut-out definition device for the definition, independent from the borders of the individual images, of the to be observed cut-out.
