An air spring, in particular for vehicles, which is clamped with an air spring piston and an air spring cover between the chassis and the vehicle body of a motor vehicle, including an air spring bellows, which is sealingly fixed on the air spring cover and air spring piston, is made of an elastomeric material, at least partially delimits a working chamber filled with compressed air, and which unrolls to form at least one rolling fold on the air spring piston, wherein an end region of the air spring bellows is secured on a clamping section of the air spring cover by a clamping ring. An additional ring is provided, which is arranged in the end region of the air spring bellows and outside the clamping section in order to relieve the clamping ring, wherein the inner diameter thereof substantially corresponds to an inner diameter of the clamping ring.

The invention relates to a method and a device for the removal of a tube blank () located on a support core (). The tube blank () is detached from the support core () by means of the introduction of a medium through a device (), whereby a detachment may be alternatively or additionally achieved by the application of a vacuum to a sleeve () enclosing the tube blank ().

A method for the production of reinforced tube-shaped structures () of rubber layers and reinforcement layers () has the steps of: a) applying a first rubber layer () with a first extrusion unit () onto a series of sequential rigid cylindrical mandrels () which are coupled to each other and which are driven at an advancement speed (v) in the direction of an advancement axis (x); b) applying a first filament layer at defined desired filament angles (&#x3b1;) referred to the advancement axis (x) with a bobbin creel unit () having means which rotate about the advancing mandrels (); c) applying atleast one further rubber layer () to the first filament layer utilizing at least one additional extrusion unit (); d) continuously measuring the advancement speed (v) of the mandrels (); controlling the quantity, which is applied via the first extrusion unit (), in dependence upon the measured advancement speed (v) in order to obtain a defined desired thickness of the first rubber layer (); f) controlling the rotational speed of the first bobbin creel unit () during the rotation about the mandrels () in dependence upon the advancement speed (v) in order to obtain a filament layer having a defined desired filament angle (&#x3b1;).

Method and device for the production of tubular structures that are reinforced with a strengthening support

A method for the production of curved thread-reinforced tubular structures composed of rubber layers and of strengthening layers and an accompanying device. In one aspect, the method includes the application of a first rubber layer to the circumference of mandrels driven forward in a feed direction (X) and winding on of a multiplicity of parallel reinforcing threads, having defined thread angles (&#x3b1;) with respect to the feed axis (x), by means of a bobbin creel, to form a first thread ply. The mandrels are led through a rotating deflection element surrounding the mandrels and the reinforcing threads are guided so as to be distributed on the inner circumference. An application of a covering rubber layer may be performed (after the optionally multiple execution of the previous steps, alone or in combination). The mandrels are led through the deflection element of the bobbin creel eccentrically in the region of the deflection element.

Method and device for the production of curved thread-reinforced tubular structures

An arrangement () for guiding individual reinforcement filaments () onto a carrier () has a positioning disc () with a plurality of filament guides () arranged distributed on a circular ring of the positioning disc (). The carrier is moveable in the direction of the carrier axis (X). The arrangement also includes a rotationally symmetrical deflecting element (). The positioning disc () and the deflecting element () each concentrically surround the carrier (). The deflecting element () is mounted within the positioning disc () and aligned axially to the positioning disc (). The inlet-end peripherally extending inner edge () of the deflecting element () faces toward the carrier () and is curved. The filament guides () open directly at the curved inner edge ().

Device for the guiding of individual reinforcement threads

An apparatus and method for separation of tubes produced continuously on a row of mandrels, continuously coupled to one another, by the mandrels being advanced in a conveying direction (X) and by material layers being applied to the mandrels. A material difference exists from the mandrel material at a connection point of successive mandrels. A measuring device detects the connection point of the successive mandrels, and a separating device, arranged downstream of the measuring device in the conveying direction (X), provides for the separation of the tubes. The separating device is controlled by the measuring device in order to align the separating device with the connection point. The separating device has a cutting head rotatable about the connection point, and advances in the conveying direction (X) synchronously with the mandrels during the separating operation.

Method and device for the separation of tubes

A drum brake () having a rotatably journalled drum () and means for adjusting the torque applied to the drum () has several peripherally-extending take-up slots () for filaments () with the slots being spaced from each other in the direction of the drum axis (X). With such an arrangement, a plurality of filaments can be adjusted to constant filament tensions simultaneously.

Thread brake

A spiraling arrangement () for applying a spirally-shaped filament layer to an elongated carrier () which is drivable in the direction of the carrier longitudinal axis (X). The arrangement has a rotor (), which is rotatable about the carrier longitudinal axis (X), and a plurality of filament bobbin carrier shafts () which extend in the direction of the carrier longitudinal axis (X). The carrier shafts () are arranged distributed on a circumscribed circle radius of the rotor () and are each configured to take up a plurality of filament bobbins (). On one end face () of the rotor (), filament brake elements () are arranged distributed over the periphery and can be driven synchronously with respect to each other. The filaments () are taken off the filament bobbins () and are guided by filament guide elements () via the filament brake elements () and an annular comb (), which encloses the carrier (), onto the carrier ().

Spiraling device

An air spring rolling-lobe flexible member is made of elastomeric material and has at least two layers of intersecting reinforcement filaments. The reinforcement filaments are arranged in an essentially parallel manner to each other at an angle between 40&#xb0; and 80&#xb0; to the direction of the periphery of the rolling-lobe flexible member. At least one component quantity of the reinforcement filaments () within one layer exhibits another strength compared to the remaining component quantity thereof.
