In order to improve an oil separator unit, in particular an oil separator unit provided for vehicle drives, comprising an oil separator housing with a drainage system and a check valve unit which is formed from a valve seat and a valve element which comprises a valve member of an umbrella-like design and consisting of an elastomer, in such a manner that it can be produced as inexpensively as possible, on the one hand, and, on the other hand, the wear on the valve element is, however, considerably reduced or occurs to as low a degree as possible, it is suggested that the valve member of the valve element be held on an insert part and that the insert part be insertable, for its part, into an insert part receptacle in a valve housing.

Oil separator unit

Separating device for separating liquid or solid particles from an aerosol stream, comprising an impactor with a perforated plate against which the stream flows, and an impact plate arranged at a short distance behind the perforated plate, the side of the impact plate against which the stream flows having a separating layer with an open structure; in order that the separating device will have a consistently good separating effect during operation, the perforated plate is provided on its rear side with a plurality of spacer elements bearing against the region of the separating layer against which the stream flows, the height of the spacer elements, the support surfaces formed by the spacer elements for the separating layer, and the number and arrangement of the spacer elements being selected in dependence upon the material of the separating layer such that it is ensured that the holes of the perforated plate remain free from material of the separating layer also during operation.

Particle separating device for an aerosol stream

Cylinder head gasket whose gasket plate comprises a single sheet metal layer, combustion chamber openings, and for each combustion chamber opening a ring-shaped combustion chamber sealing element, which is a sheet metal ring that is arranged on the sheet metal layer and is joined to the latter by welding; to avoid the risk of damage to a combustion chamber sealing element as a result of sliding movements occurring between a cylinder head sealing surface and the cylinder head gasket while the engine is in operation, all sheet metal rings are arranged on that side of the sheet metal layer which is to face an engine block.

Cylinder head gasket

In order to provide a radial seal for sealing between a first component arranged radially inside the radial seal and a second component arranged radially outside the seal, which is suitable for sealing between two components, of which at least one has a non-rotationally symmetrical contact face for the radial seal, it is proposed that the radial seal comprises a non-rotationally symmetrical sealing body with an inner sealing face for application to the first component and an outer sealing face for application to the second component, a first reinforcement element, which supports the inner sealing face against a pressing force acting radially outwardly and a second reinforcement element, which supports the outer sealing face against a pressing force acting radially inwardly.

Radial seal

In order to provide an oil separator for separating oil from a blowby gas of a cylinder head of an internal combustion engine, which oil separator is manufactured separately from a basic body of a cylinder head cover but may nevertheless be easily integrated into the cylinder head cover, it is proposed that the oil separator comprises an oil separator module, which is manufactured separately from a basic body of a cylinder head cover and comprises a cyclone plate having at least one cyclone as well as a base plate, wherein the cyclone plate is fastened to the base plate and the oil separator module is fastenable to the basic body of the cylinder head cover.
